My dad came and woke me up. It was 7:00. I was sleepy because of my unsteady sleeping schedule over the summer. I went to the bathroom. When I came out I woke up my brother and sent him to the bathroom. Then I went to my room and started changing. I wanted to wear my purple tank top and black crop top set. It was a two piece set.
I quickly changed and pulled on a pair of Aéropostale jeans that I liked. They had buttoned pockets in the back but they were cute. They had a hole in the left knee. My mom hated them though because they had a hole. I put on my heart shaped key and lock necklace with the matching heart studs. I loved it but my little sister Anna and my little cousin (who was four months older than Anna) Ali had pulled it off my neck. It was genuine crystal. I later got a heart shaped lock necklace and had the key put on it. The earrings came with the key.
I briefly brushed my hair and grabbed my bag. I looked at myself one last time, satisfied with what I saw. I went downstairs and put my bag down. I went into the kitchen and had cereal. After breakfast I packed my lunch. A cheese sandwich. I was sick of eating those. I put my lunch bag by my bag and went into the family room and waited for my dad.
When he came downstairs, I grabbed my bag and lunch bag and said bye. I walked out after my dad and got into the van. He drove me to school. We got there and he parked in the same neighbourhood we parked yesterday. I got out and we crossed the street.
Me and my dad went to the back of the school. We waited for a few minutes. Then a tall girl with curly hair came up to me. A short girl with shirt hair also came up with her.
"Hi. I'm Stuvetha. This is my friend Neena." Said the tall girl.
My dad notified me he was leaving "Ok. I'm going. Bye."
"Bye!" I replied.
"What class are you in?" I asked, trying to make awkward conversation.
Stuvetha mumbled something that I didn't understand. I pretended I heard.
We had awkward small talk.
I asked her "Who's your teacher?"
"We're in the same class!" Stuvetha exclaimed.
"Oh. Never mind. That's why you looked familiar." I said, embarrassed. It had been a partial lie. I didn't really remember seeing her in the class.
The bell rang. I followed Neena and Stuvetha. Neena said goodbye and I went to my locker with Stuvetha. I opened it up and got my binder and pencil case out. I waited for Sonia to come.
"Hey!" I greeted.
"Hi!" Sonia replied as she got her stuff out.
I locked my locker and we headed to class.
