I started cutting out R's. I was trying to use my artistic sense to see what looks good together. The paper was nice and floral.

"This is fun!" Natalie said. She seemed like the happy type.

"Natalie, we know. You've said that 4 times already," Abby replied "let's just talk about what we did over the summer"

Lauren seemed impatient to talk about what she did. "I went to my cottage and spent the summer there. I met a cute boy there and he gave his number!"

"I stayed home and chilled with Steph at my pool. That's pretty much all we did." Abby shrugged.

"I spent the summer at my dads," Natalie said, trying hard not to cry "I had so much fun. My sister came with me."

As I finished the last R, I put my scissors down. I didn't know she had split parents. She seemed happy. I picked out blue paper for K. My favourite colour is blue. I started drawing the K's. We pretty much worked in silence after that. Natalie seemed to get a grip on herself.

Ten minutes later, we had to clean up.

"We're going to play a name game after the rooms tidied up," Mrs. Corbin, the j-com teacher said. "Ok everyone, you're all going to choose an adjective that describes you, buy it also has to start with the first letter of your name. I'll give you an example. Cheery Corbin. The next person will say my name, them their name. You guys sort of understand?"

We all nodded our heads. As the game started, I tried to remember everyone's names. When it was my turn, I chose Responsible Rosy. After a few people, a group of boys table came. One of them was cute and he was my first crush at this new school. His name was Nick. He seemed nice.

There were 15 minutes to the lunch bell, so after we were done the name

game Mrs. Leed started explaining the next one.

"I will put you all into groups. You have to pass this key with a string on it through your clothes. The first group done and we will check and after we say the can take the string out, you will have to. The first ones done win. understand?" Mrs. Leed explained.

Everybody nodded their heads.

"Okay. Well you two there can work with these two." She said, making groups. "Okay here you go. Everyone has a key. Well start!"

My group quickly wove the key through our clothes. As soon as we were done we put our hands up. We were approved and we started unweaving the key. It was tricky but we managed to be the second ones done. We got a one minute head start at eating out lunch.
