My Friends: You got a C? You're grounded for a week. No TV, Phone, or computer.

My Parents: You're not allowed to use your phone until you get that grade up! (I don't watch the TV or use the computer that much, so I don't need to worry about that)

When You're Being Invited To A Party

Me Friend: Sure, you can go!

My Parents: Let me think about it. -Several days later- Sure. Just be back in three hours

Forgetting to Do Chores

Friends Parents: Next time do your chores, or else you're grounded

My Parents: You're grounded. Do your chores now!

Doing Something Bad

Friend Parents: Okay, but you're grounded.

My Parents: You're grounded, now where's the belt/ hanger/anything I can be hit with (my mom mostly does that)

Me: *Runs for life*

When Screw Up On Test

Friend Parents: Next time do better.

Checking Up On You

Friends Parents: *knock on door* Can I come in?

Friend: Sure!

My Parents: *Opens door* What are you doing?

Me: Nothing, just listening to music.

Me: Okay *hands phone*

When they found out I liked anime

My Friends: Okay! I accept you for who you are.

My Parents: I hope you, ano, I am okay with you watching, ano, this anime, but I don't want it to, ano, get in the middle of your studies. (True story said by my dad)

Doing Chores

Friends Parents: Do your chores!

Friend: Okay. -Does chores poorly-

Friends Parents:... Do them better next time.

Me: Okay. *Finishes Washing Dishes*

My Parents: Fold the clothes and I'll give you your phone.

Me: Okay. *folds clothes*

My Parents: Clean your room then we'll give you your phone.

Me: *sighs* Yes.

Friends parents: You're in big trouble

Friend: It's not my fault though!

A/N: Okay, so this is just what is different between my life and my friend's life, because we have different parents. I'm raised in a more strict family than my friend, but that's alright.
