We found an army half filled with earthborn, half filled a whole bunch of other creatures I didn't know the names of, oh yeah, and don't forget about the dozen or so giants leading the whole sha-bang.

Percy, Annabeth, Frank, Hazel, and I were all leading a group of wedding guests to one side of the camp. I hoped Will was doing the same with Jason, Piper, and Leo. We figured out that if we are in the same group together, Will and I start fighting about battle strategies, that's why we weren't together. The Ares kids were distracting the monsters. Then, we'll sneak up on them. While they're distracted with the Ares kids and us, Will's group takes them down. I raised several skeletons to help the attack.

"You guys ready?" Percy asked us. I could very distinctly hear the battle cry of Clarisse La Rue. Man, that girl was a monster- you know what I mean.

We nodded our heads and got ready. We ran in.

The rest of battle #1 was a blur. I slashed a little here, sliced a little there. You know, casual tricks. We slowly weeded our way through. Finally, it was mostly just the Giants left. Everyone drew back to contemplate our new strategy.

"Okay, so there's like 150 kids here and like twelve Giants. Taking away the newest kids that don't know how to fight at all, that'll leave us with about 12 kids per giant." Annabeth said.

"That's not enough!" Percy exclaimed. "It'll take at least a hundred more kids or so to even have half a chance."

"Gee, thanks for that one, Captain Obvious," Leo put in.

"I thought I was Seaweed Brain," Percy retorted.

"Would you two quit fighting?" Piper scolded.

"Okay, if we can't divide, then we stay together and divide them," Annabeth said. We all nodded since no one can ever say no to a plan that Annabeth devised.

"Will, send only your best archers and have the rest go to the infirmary. I have a feeling a few of our campers are in need of medics." I could almost see a glint in her eye. That was terrifying. Annabeth has always scared me. She's outright intimidating. Her bold gray eyes stand out in any crowd. And, it was even worse when she had her Yankees/invisibility cap. She could sneak up on you anytime. Thankfully she didn't use that anymore since it was a gift from her mother.

I blinked. Annabeth was giving directions to the Ares kids while Connor and Travis Stoll, of course, even in the midst of a battle, were still making fun of Annabeth and mimicking her actions.

"Okay, everyone got it?" Annabeth asked. No one answered. We already knew it was a rhetorical question. Annabeth didn't care that a few kids didn't understand. She understood and that was all that mattered.

We took our positions. Will went up the hill with the other archers to get a better shot. Clarisse led the Ares kids to the front lines where it would be the most bloody. Just the way they liked it. Katie Gardner led the other Demeter kids along with the satyrs and the nymphs, dryads, naiads, etc. somewhere safer where they can grow vines and flowers to confuse and irritate the giants. The Stoll brothers led the Hermes campers to- actually I didn't know where they were going. And then there was me, my plan was to shadow travel and slice. I didn't care if Annabeth had given me a different plan, I liked to use my own plans until they didn't work anymore.
