Well, that plan didn't work long. I tried to shadow travel but something went wrong and I ended up somewhere in Vegas. Ugh, I hated Vegas.(long story) I sighed as I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't be able to shadow travel back. I was too weak. It was hard enough to travel all the way across the country. But there and back, it was impossible. Unless... No, he didn't have the decency to show up for his one and only son's wedding, why would he help me now. Still, I didn't have much of an option.

"Dad," I tried, "I know you're probably busy torturing a soul or something like that, but I could really use some help here. If you help me now, it'll sort of make up for not coming to my wedding. Please, my friends, need me." I went on for like another minute or so. Just as I was about to give up hope, I felt a rush of adrenaline. Suddenly, I felt like I could shadow travel across the world in one jump. I found the nearest alley and made my way back to camp. Of course, since no one can shadow travel directly into camp (and I was too tired to care) I ended up on top of my cabin.

Sword in one hand, and... a note in the other. I had no idea where the piece of paper had come from. I decided I would worry about that later. I jumped off my roof and threw the note inside. Then I ran off to finish the battle.
