I love you too

The cold crept into Dean's veins through his toes as he sprinted to his best friend's house. He had been at a part with Lisa his, now ex-girlfriend when Cas called him, sobbing. He had just caught his girlfriend and some guy up in a room together. Dean panted but kept going knowing Cas needed him. He finally arrived at the small blue house and he climbed through Cas' first floor window. He crept through the halls careful not to wake Mr. Novak. Cas was in the corner of his bed, his back pressed up against the cool wall. He didn't hear Dean come in. The room was almost silent and it was eerily still.
"What's wrong Angel?" Dean asked.
"I missed all the fun at the party just cause of my stupid anxiety." Cas sniffled, "and you and Lisa probably had the time of your lives."
"Yeah Lisa had a great time with John but I don't think we'll being seeing much of her anymore seeing as I dumped her." Cas looked up at Dean with wide, shocked eyes.
Dean climbed next to Cas on the bed and pulled him onto his lap. He buried his face into Cas' hair and pressed a kiss to the top of his head. He didn't know what he was doing but it felt so right.
"Dean?"
"Yes Cas."
"Do you love me?"
"Of Course Cas"
"No not like that-"
"I knew what you meant Cas and the answer is still yes." Cas wrapped his legs around Dean's waist and looked up at him. Then, swiftly, he put his hands around Dean's neck and kissed him gentle and sweet. He pulled back to look at Dean,
"I love you."
"Love you too"
Dean pressed his lips to Cas' once again.
"No more parties, okay?" Cas nodded.
"Sounds good." He agreed burying his face in Dean's neck. So the younger boy fell asleep in Dean's arms. Dean realised that he had found what he was looking for. And it had been standing in front of him for years.
