It has been about 5-6 hours since Buster left his sister Winter by herself, he doesn't know if she has read the not yet and he doesn't really care if she has or hasn't.
Buster's P.O.V:
I drive along the highway, I have been driving for at least 5-6 hours, I have only stopped once and that was to get a burger at McDonalds. I look at the signs that I pass while I'm driving, just to see where I am I see that there is a camping site about 5 minutes further down the highway.
I drive for another 5 minutes and see the camping site so I turn into the car park but luckily for me, I always had my camping stuff packed and put away in the back of the truck, which had no proper canopy but it did have one of those fold up black covers over the tray of it.
I open the cover slightly and open up the back of the tray to see the bag with my camping gear in it. I grab the bag out and then close up the truck. I set up the small tent right next to the drivers side door, and I had the keys in my pocket. Since I wasn't hungry or thirsty, I just climbed inside the tent and laid down.
I reach into my pocket and pull out a picture, it was a picture of Winter and I before we found that box in the basement, back when our lives were normal. Winter had her natural brown hair in this picture because this was taken a day before she dyed her hair red.
Wow it was scary how much things have changed in about 2 months, I never should've hid from her in the basement, if I hadn't done that then none of this would've happened, I would still be at home because there would've been no reason for me to leave, Winter would be fine, I never would've found out that Winter was racing cars illegally. Everything would've been normal.
But because of me all of this happened, it was all my fault, it was my fault that I had leave Winter, that Winter is turning into the dark one, that we know anything about the history of our family. Everything was because of me, I was the only to blame for all of this crap. After a while of thinking I fall asleep.
