It has been a few months since Buster left, knowing that he meant it when he said he wouldn't be back for a long time, Winter and her mum make themselves as busy as they can.
Winter's P.O.V:
I was sick of wanting to do this, so I walk myself down into the basement and grab the box. I get the book outta it and march it back into my room so that I can read it completely. But I just place it on my desk and I walk into the kitchen to see my mum standing there making lunch.
I sit down and mum turns around with a plate full of yummy food and places it down in front of me. She then does the same with her plate of food and sits down next to me. We sit and eat in silence for a few minutes until mum gets annoyed with it.
"So Winter what do you wanna be when you're older?" Mum asks me,
"Hmmm....... I was thinking about becoming either an author or an actress, what do you think?" I say and ask my mum
"I think you should do anything that makes you happy, just know that no matter what I'll be here for you and I'm always proud of you," Mum says to me.
Buster's P.O.V:
I have gotten a job and I have been working hard, I need to move on with my life and get somewhere with it. I can't keep just camping out in random places because I've learnt that I tend to run out of money pretty quickly.
So now I have a job working at a music shop, I help run the place, I was just promoted to being the store manager just yesterday, so yeah it's a pretty cool job, I get to work with music and I get to talk to people about music.
Now I live in a cool apartment with a cool roommate who owns the comic book store next door to the music shop that I work at.
