I woke up extra early, throwing in a couple of clothes inside a bag, I took a bath and brushed my teeth, throwing a hoodie and a pair of jeans on. I slipped in my red Converse and slung my bag onto my shoulder.

I tiptoed quietly downstairs, reminding myself to call Mom later and tell her where I was headed. I grabbed my keys from the counter and made my way out the front door, backing the car from the garage and driving away.

I rolled my windows down, leaning my elbow on the window, feeling the breeze of the wind tangle up my hair behind me.

I grabbed my phone from the passenger seat and dialed Trav's number, on the third ring, he picked up, "Travis!"

"Allie?" he croaked out, "it's like 8 in the morning."

"I'm sorry," I giggled, his sleepy voice turning me on, "it's just, I want to just tell you that I'm not at home, okay?"

I could hear him sitting up in bed and rubbing his eyes, "What? Where are you?"

"I'm heading to the beach downtown," I answered.

"Oh," he plopped out of the bed, "Do you want me to come with you?"

"No, it's ok, " I parked just in front of the beach. No one's there yet and the water was glistening like diamonds against the shining sun.

    "Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yeah," I nodded, as if he can see, "you can just call if you want to, okay?"

"Okay," then I clicked the line cut.

I got out of the car, slinging my bag onto my shoulder, I walked my way to the concierge. After giving me the key to our beach house, I literally ran to house and stripped naked once I got in. I searched my bag for my pink bikini. After strapping it on, I padded to the beach bare foot and sat on the sand where the water touches.

I do this routinely now. Every year I go to the beach house alone for three whole days, just soking up the sea water and the feel of the sand between my toes.

Everything was peaceful here unlike the city. Everything's busy, even the street lights are busy. This was my type of relaxation.

Standing up, I slowly waded into the water until it was only my head visible above the water. The water was warm and my skin was yearning for it.

After a quick swim, I dryed myself with the towel and put on a transparent hoodie. I walked to the mini bar just across the beach. The bartender smiled at me and gave me my usual Mango with Strawberry Syrup shake.

I headed back to the house, going into the shower, getting rid of the sand on my skin. I didn't bother putting on clothes since I was alone. I skipped into my bedroom which was in different shades of white. I plopped down on my bed and immediately fell into deep slumber.

I woke up to my phone ringing, I looked around the room which was bathed in moonlight. I struggled to grope around for my phone before finally pressing it to my ear, "H-Hello?" I stiffled a yawn.

"Allie?" Travis sighed on the other line.

"Is something wrong, Trav?" I sat up straight in bed, leaning over to turn the bed side lamp on.

"Well, I left you a dozen calls and you didn't pick up," I heard him run a hand through his hair.

"I'm sorry, babe," I put my hand on my forehead, "I was asleep."

I felt him relax, "Are you still down by the beach?"

"Yeah," I rested phone between my head and neck, scrutinizing my bag for clothes.

"I'm at the beach's parking lot," he chimed in.

"Uhu," I mumbled, putting on a loose white shirt and faded shorts.

"Where are you?" he asked, I could here the waves through the phone.

"I'll meet up with you, I'm in our beach house." I clicked the phone shut.

Travis was leaning on a coconut tree, looking out to the water beating on the sad. The waters looked so persistent, no matter how the waves pushed it away, it comes back no matter what.

"Hey," I gave him a smile.

He scooped me up into his arms, suffocating the air out of my lungs. He sat me down on my feet again, giving me an angelic smile. We sat down on the sand, both of silent for a while.

"So," I licked my lips, playing with the sand beside me, "why did you come here?"

He looked at me, his eyes full of uncertainty, "I..want to ask you something."

I nodded, signaling him to go on.

"Are you just..using..me to get over Jacob?" he didn't look at me, instead, he focused on the water lapping on the sand.

I moved closer to him, leaning on his arm, "Let me love you."

Travis looked down at me, "Huh?"

I rested my chin on his shoulder, "Do you have feelings for me?"

Travis didn't answer for quite some time, he just trained his eyes on the sand. He bit his lips then looked at me with both sadness and love in his eyes, "Yes."

I detached myself from him and looked at him in shock, "Oh, Travis."

He shook his head, "You can break things up if you want."

"No, no, no, no," I snuggled up into his chest, his arms snaking around my waist, "I won't break things up. I told you I won't, remember?"

I looked up at him and gave him a sincere smile, he relaxed beside me snuggling up closer to me, "Thank you."

            I laughed, "For what?"

"Making me your boyfriend," he muttered.

I smiled, pecking him on the cheek, "I like it." And I knew when I let the words out, I meant it.
