Just One More Hour...

Chapter 11: All on my own with no where left to run...

Night 325 year 8

Howdy my name's Philip Alexander Colbalt or as literally everyone else calls me, Fin due to a rather embarrassing video released during my collage days. But hey at least I have a place to call home and one person who at least tries to make me feel welcome in this wonderfully fucked up world we live in nowadays. Anyways on to my night which begins like every other night I'm forced to spend in this hell hole of a place. I take a nice long swig of the energy drink concoction that my roommate Twitch made for me, I stretch out and get ready to run. Then I unlock the door and run down some stairs, through a few hallways, past the main generator, through the main storage room, past at least sixteen different parts and service rooms, down a large spiral stair case, mind you I was doing this all while being chased by possessed animatronics, and finally into my large office. I finally sit down in my swivel seat and chug the last of my drink setting my bottle on the coaster on the left side of my desk. I think briefly about why the hell I'm even dealing with this, that is before reminding myself that Twitch and Lux are basically carrying me and my debts one their shoulders and, that if I stop getting this seventy-five dollar per hour paycheck it'll look like I've stopped trying and that would hurt them so badly. I don't really get to think for to long considering that Mia starts angrily calling me over the coms.

Mia:" Oie Fin! You there?"

Fin:" Yeah Mia. Whats got you so-"

Mia:" The power Fin. My zone's power just cut out and YOU need to fix it!"

Fin:" Ok, ok! Wow you're worked up about this!"

" Fix It Fin."

Fin:" Ok! I'm working on it."

Karry:" Guys what's going on? My power just went out. Fin is there something wrong with the generator?"

Katty:" Yeah, is everything ok down there?"

Fin sighs " I'll go check you guys just try to do your jobs without the power for a bit ok?"

Karry:" Okie dokie!"

Katty:" I'll try, and thank you Fin."

Mia:" Fine but it better be quick for your sake Fin."

         I then decide that it would be best if I leave the conversation before I get to pissed at Mia the mega-bitch, and either way I have a generator to fix because according to my boss it's my responsibility to fix the generator for some reason. I call in Veno to help me stay safe while I'm up there. Ok to quickly answer questions Veno is an animatronic cat that I managed to strike a deal with, said deal involves me letting her out on certain nights to go see her girlfriend Camie cat. Just as I finally manage to convince her that it's important enough that she agrees to come my com starts up again.

Karry:"Katty?"

Karry:"Katty you there?"

Void:"No."

Karry:"Ahhhh! Who the hell are you?!"

Void:"... No one in particular."

Karry:"No you're definitely someone, and you useing Katty's com!"

Katty:"K... karr... y...... r-run..."

Void:"Oh shit you're still alive. You just don't die easily do you? *sigh* I guess I'll just have to shot you *long over dramatic sigh* AGAIN."

Karry:"W-what?! No! Ka-"

The signal cuts off and I sit stunned and speechless in my office. I know for a fact that the other voice had to be Devoidence as she had been taken into custody on live Tv and that voice was far to similar to just be a coincidence. After a while Veno finally showed up, once she did I just couldn't seem to stop myself from running up and hugging her. "I guess it never get's any easier to lose the ones you love huh?" Veno says seeming reading my mind. I just nod and nuzzle further into her soft greasy dirty faded purple and sickly green fur. She get's down closer to my level and says "Shh... It's gonna be okay I understand that right now you feel terrible and you just want to cry, but if I've learned anything, it's that you need to fight that at least until you're in a safer place to cry. Okay?". I nod slightly and start to pull away. To be honest that is a lot more empathy then I ever expected one of those things to show towards me, now that I really think about it I think my height might have trigger her normal daytime service mode or something. I wipe away my tears and look at Veno. She's leaned down and looking directly into my eyes just like how she had on that day. I look at her for a few more seconds before I snap out of it and we go to the generator. Once we're there I start to check out the generator. After a good five minutes or so David starts useing the com line.

David:" H-hello?! Mia? Karry? Katty? Fin? Anyone there?" David shouts.

Veno:"Who's that?"

Fin:"That's David, he's that new guy who joined about twelve days ago."

Veno:"Oh, well you should should really respond. After all he does sound kinda worried."

Fin:*Sighs*"Alright he's probably just concerned about when the power's coming back on."

Fin:" Yeah I'm here Mia gave me the news about the power and I'm working on it. I should be done in about six or seven minutes and then there's gonna be a half hour of delay bu-"

David:" Fin I have power in my zone. I-I just wanted to make sure I w-wasn't alone.*David starts crying* I just wanted to make sure th-that everyone's ok."

Veno:"Aww, Philip he's crying can I talk to the little kitten?"

Fin:"He's more like a lamb and no it'll just freak him out."

Veno:"Pllleeeeeaaaasssseeee PPPPPhhhhhiiiiillllliiiiip!"

Fin:"No for David's sake, listen I'm just going to try and calm him down okay?"

Veno:*Long sigh*"Fine Philip."

Fin:"Oh... oh yeah I forgot that you have monophobia and nyctophobia. Well... don't worry big guy I'm just down here in the basement whenever you need me!" I say trying with all my might trying to sound cheerful after hearing one of my only friends die.

David:" Uh... Fin? Why aren't the others responding? Is something wrong?! I-I'm starting t-to freak out a-again Fin!"

Fin & Veno:"Oh shit."

Fin:"Oh fuck'in 'ell. Veno what am I supposed to say? 'Oh well everyone's mostly likely dead, Oh and by the way did you know there's at least one psychotic murderer in the building who may have killed everyone but you and me?'"

Veno:"Shhh Fin you need to just calm down. Listen someone is counting on you just keep your cool okay?"

Fin:*Inhales deeply then exhales deeply*"Okay... th... thanks Veno."

Fin:" Shhh... listen David there's nothing to be afraid of. Just... just give me a sec to get up there ok? Would that be better?"

David:" Y-yeah i-it would..."

Fin:"Was that good?"

Veno:"It was wonderful I'll walk you up there and try to fix the generator okay?"

Fin:"Okay... thank you..." at this moment I said something I hadn't said to Veno or any other animatronic in years and, even though it was quiet I'm sure she heard it."m-my... h-...hero."

After that I went up stairs and found Karry with a bullet wound near her heart after that I quickly phoned an ambulance from my bosses office. I checked Karry, Mia, David, and Katty... Only Katty didn't have a pulse.
