Chapter 16: three days before it's time.

Today's been lovely, Lapin made coffee before I left to go to work, my boss is rather happy today, the girls are doing fine on their own and don't need my assistance, the customers have all been rather nice, It seems as though the unfair world has finally been kind to me. It's really a shame that we have to practice tonight for what's to come. Though I think the upcoming event in three days is going to be my last. After all I've all ready bought that nice quiet house up in Canada. Who knows maybe I could find someone up there I like and... oh I'm sorry it seems I started rabbling again. Anyways my shift here is almost done, once I go home and change I'm thinking I might meet up with the girls at Celestial Shillings and get some coffee. Oh and maybe one of those nice little cake pops. Though I mostly taste the blood from my torn cheek I still enjoy the texture. The nice soft moist cake possibly a vanilla cake pop with strawberry frosting. Oh I could even get one of those little bowl cakes with the nice melty caramel center I've always wanted to try one of those. Or better yet I could get one or two of those sea salt brownies Lapin adores!... I... I did it again didn't I? Of course I did I rambled on again! I guess I'm just very excited about the move and the fact that I haven't eaten much yet probably factors into that as well. Anyways my shift is over! It's time for me to go home and greet Lapin again! Oh I do hope that she'll be ok when I'm gone. I mean she's lived with me since I had asked her to come three years ago. *Jonathan run's into someone in his absent minded daze*
Jonathan:" Oh I'm terribly sorry. Here I think you may have dropped this." I say as I look up to see Isabel, the girl who comes in on my shift all the time.
Isabel:" U-um it's m-my fault I sh-should have been paying mo-more attention. Th-the envelope is f-for you. I u-uh h-have to go!"
Jonathan:" Well that was... strange. I'll read it tomorrow." Say as I continue home, and buy basically all the sweets a the Celestial Shillings.
