11- Dan

When Susan introduced herself as Susan, my heart got a little happier. I noticed Phil's proud look, and laughed to myself. They were both doing so much better.

Felix nodded and sat down. "So, Phil. How you doing? I haven't seen you since before you two went off for the U.S. tour."

"I'm doing, good, thanks. How're you and Marzia?"

"Great! I've actually got some news about us." He rubbed his hands together nervously.

I felt a little panic flow through my body as the three of us sat down. But surely he wouldn't have said they were great of something bad had happened.

"We're engaged!" Felix grinned widely.

Phil and I instantly smiled. I noticed Susan politely smile beside me.

Felix started talking to Phil about how excited Marzia was, or something.

Susan pulled my sleeve. I turned to face her as she asked, "Uh, who's he, and who's Marzia?"

"Him? Oh that's Felix. He's a YouTuber called PewDiePie. Felix's girlfriend, well, now his fiancee, Marzia, is also a YouTuber. Her channel is CutiePieMarzia. They're both YouTubers with a HUGE fan base. Felix has over forty-million subscribers."

"Lotta people," she murmured.

"Yeah. He's the most popular guy in the site."

"He looks really familiar." Susan pit her hand over her mouth and turned her attention over to the conversation Felix and Phil were having.

" . . . we're not to sure when, but definitely soon. Would you two and Susan like to come?"

"Absolutely!" I said.

"Great." Felix leaned back and put his hands together in front of his face. "There's really no good way to lead into this," he muttered. He inhaled and began speaking again. "Whatever it is, you can tell me."

Phil, Susan and I looked at each other.

"Whaddaya mean?" Phil asked.

"Where did you disappear? You haven't told anyone, but you can tell me. I'll believe you, no matter how outrageous."

"Uh-huh." Phil scoffed.

"I will! I swear!"

"Dan didn't believe me until he saw it himself," Susan said.

"She's not wrong," I agreed.

Felix sighed loudly. "Did you know Seán McLoughlin went missing?"

"Jacksepticeye? We just talked the other day. He didn't mention leaving or anything," Phil said. He sounded incredulous.

"I know. But he's went missing. I don't think any fans have noticed yet, but they will soon. And we just need to find him. I need to know who kidnapped you Phil, it might be a lead."

Phil looked at me. I shrugged.

"It's your choice, Phil."

Phil was silent for a moment, and looked lost in thought. Finally, he spoke. "Maybe later, Felix. But not right now."

He nodded. "Your choice man. But we have no clue where to look for Seán."

"I'm really sorry," Susan said. "We don't either."

"Well, I wish I wasn't the bearer of such bad news. But I'll let you know more about the wedding once we decide, alright?"

We talked a little longer, before Felix said he had to go. I showed him out while Susan and Phil stayed in the lounge.

"Look, Dan, I am really sorry about what happened. I hope you will tell me what happened, eventually."

I nodded and patted Felix's arm. "Maybe some day. But I think it's still too recent for Phil to talk about."

Felix nodded and headed out the door. I closed it behind him, and went back upstairs to throw out my cereal, which was undoubtedly too soggy to eat.

A month passed. The YouTube community noticed Jacksepticeye was gone. Everyone was concerned. Like with Phil, no information was found.

In order to distract the YouTube audience, PewDiePie announced a special edition of Scare PewDiePie. It would feature several YouTubers scaring the living daylights out of him. Well, he announced it to the YouTubers he wanted in it, not the whole internet. He asked Phil and I to be in it.

Susan wanted to come to the filming, but because of her job with Google, she would be unable to attend.

So after making sure Susan wouldn't forget to come over and water Phil's houseplants every day, we gave her a key to our flat and headed off to Brighton, to stay with Felix and Marzia while we filmed.
