You slowly get to your feet, finally feeling strong enough to get up. Your eyes have finally adjust to the light and to bland colors. Everything looks like a black and white photo, nothing seems to show any color other than various shades of grey colors. You figure it's a side effect or being in the dark for so long. You check your surroundings, looking for any sign of Him.
You confirm the coast is clear, and make your way in the direction where Slender's mansion is. You walk slowly forward, wishing you had the strength to run for it. You still feel a bit dizzy from being stuck in the dark, your limbs feel like noodles.

You climb the hill you fell down before, but once you reach the top you're cut off. In front of you is a cliff that leads down to a black, darken valley that looks like an endless pit; the valley the stretches for miles and miles. Far, far out in the distance, barely even a spec; you can see what looks to be the mansion, just sitting there calling for you.

"This is why I can't approach his mansion in this realm, THAT fiend has a destroyed the surrounding areas on his domain." A voice echoes into your ear, causing you to freeze in place. He grins at your reaction, as the shadow slowly forms into place. He steps behind you, invading your personal space. His temperature radiates from ice cold to burning heat, as he leans closer and closer. "Did you know.... Slender is the reason that I'm becoming weaker..."his voice growls in your ears as he speaks. "This is why he has become SO known to you mortals, but I'll soon fix this. I know everyone's deepest fears whether they show it or not." His voice hisses, causing you to buckle down in fear. You grab yourself in to keep from shaking, but it doesn't help.

"I had to go to your mortal realm with all its vibrant life, disgusting. It wasn't easy you know! I had to sneak through his sense and defenses. Just... to... get... to... you. You should feel flattered really! It wasn't just the one time, you know." He calming explains, his being towering over you.
" please... just leave me alone....just let me go free..." you whimper weakly, you breathing hitched. You feel the fear boiling up inside, No hope of escaping his clutches. He stays silent, then wraps a finger around your (h/l), (h/c) hair, causing you to shake uncontrollably.

"I can't just let you go, at this point! it's just toooo delicious watching you hopelessly crumple under my feet. Besides I have plans for you... so be happy that I'm even keeping you around and haven't shredded your soul apart!" He growls, gripping to your hair causing you to flinch. He laughs at the sight of you, then releases your hair. You hold breath, gripping onto the grey grass below you. "look at me mortal..." he says behind you, you only tense up more. There is a long silence, your too afraid to move even an inch.

" I SAID LOOK AT ME MORTAL!" he yells, the ground trembling with his voice. His hand grabs your chin and harshly jerks your head up, making you face his menacing, glowing orange eyes. His face then formed a disturbing, demented smile; his figure turns into a darkened form of Splendors.
"Maybe this form would be much to your liking. Now..." He says standing up, adjusting the new outfit. "What did I say about not behaving?" his voice lowers, but stills shakes the ground. Your eyes widen in fear, but before even getting a word in the ground opens up into a dark pit.

You fall downward in the darkness once again; you can hear his laugh reverberate off the darkness. Your body then hits ice cold water once more, you gasp for air as you swim up. You reach the surface, and reach out for some kind of wall to hold onto, but the only thing you feel is a ceiling about an arm's length above you. You swim forward, but no matter how far you would swim, you cannot find a wall. The sound of water seems to be echoing off something, but there is no way of telling how far the wall is from you.

You reach above you, your hand scraping against the celling; you wince, pulling your hand down. The ceiling is a lot closer than it was before. "The water is rising, and it's rising fast! Too fast.. no, I'll drown!" you whisper, and feel your heart start to pound quick in your chest. You feel something tug you under, only to let you go.
You gasp in shock, swallowing some of the harsh cold water. You swim faster, hoping to find an opening on the ceiling. No luck, you're just swimming aimlessly in the darkness. The only sound being the water rushing in and your desperate cries. You feel something graze your foot, somethings in the water with you. The water continues to rise more and more, the cold water now making it hard to move.

The water raises slowly...

five inches left...

four left...

three...

two...

Water starting to cut off the air flow here and there, the waves move up and down.

You gasp desperately for air, occasionally swallowing the ice cold water only to have it burn immensely at your insides, like hot molten lava. You feel something jab at your legs, something is biting into you. The pain builds up worse and worse, more things biting in you. Every sharp pain is quickly welcomed by the cold water, which turns into red hot heat. You try to scream in pain, but it only leads to you swallowing in more water. Something grabs your ankle and drags you down into the water.

~POV switch~

A Knife launches its way into a tree, Jeff cursing to the sky. They all have been searching with no luck and it was driving Jeff into a blood fueled rage. After hearing, the tales from everyone else about this Tenebrarum guy, Jeff knew that if they didn't hurry that you most likely would be dead or something worse.

Ben sighs, watching Jeff lose control of his rage again. Everyone else is spread out just about ears length away from the two of them. All of them searching once more for you, in the distance they could still hear Splendor calling out hysterically. A week and a half has gone by, and while Slender is convinced that you are still alive, everyone is having their doubts. < sub> "Should of put ___ to sleep when I had the chance...." Jeff mutters under his breath, kicks a rock out of his way.

Slender appears next to Jeff, he sighs out. "Looks like night time is coming soon, we'll look one last time tomorrow then cut out loses. Slender say with a stoic tone, Jeff rips out his knife and mutters some more.

Jeff, instead of heading towards the mansion, heads east. "Jeff where are you going?" Slender asks, "I need to help some people sleep tonight!" Jeff replies, stomping away. Slender nods and continues forward. Ben shrugs, closely following Jeff, but then freezes in place.
Jeff at first keeps going then notices the lack of Ben. "YOU COMING OR NOT?! THERE'S NO POINT IN CONTINUING TO LOOK!..." Jeff growls, but then notices the odd look on Ben's face. "Ben...?" Jeff looks at him with a puzzle, staring at him closely. "I think I sense__-.... No, it's gone but... YEAH... This way!" Ben exclaims, running the opposite way of the mansion. "WAIT BEN!" Jeff yells, Jeff hesitates for a brief moment, then yells for Slender. Ben not waiting for Jeff at all as he dashes forward, leaving Jeff in the dust.

Slender teleports in front of Ben, and halts him. "What are you doing? It's pointless to search now! ..." Slender says coldly, holding on tightly to Ben's arms. "NO WE HAVE TO HURRY! I'LL LOSE THE DIRECTION, I SENSED SOMEONE! ..... THAT WAY!!!" Ben shouts, trying to pull loose from Slender. Slender releases his arm, and Ben dashes off again with everyone else following behind.

Within a few minutes, they reach a clearing far from the mansion, the air around here colder like if it's winter time. Ben stops in the middle of the field suddenly and searches frantically around him. "F*ck, I've lost it....." Ben sighs, seeing no sign of anything. "You said someone was this way? I see nothing." Jeff scoffs at Ben, whom ignores his words. Slender, however tenses up feeling something here. He abruptly stops everyone from moving forward, then quickly yanks Ben roughly back to the group.

The setting sun is quickly darkening as they heard maniacal laughing coming from the shadows of the trees in front of them. A figure steps out of nowhere, emerging from the darkness into the dim light. "Well, well, well, and I was beginning to lose hope of anyone showing up to the party... but I guess the elf there has extra sensitive powers that I never accounted for......" The shadow says coyly, looking at each and everyone one of them.

Jeff clinches his knife, and tries to take a step forward only to be held back by Slender and Ben. "WHERE IS _____?!? YOU HAVE HER DON"T YOU!?!?" Jeff yells in his rage, the shadow just laughs in reply. A wide grin forms on his face as he changes his form to mimic Jeffs.

"Why do you care? All you want with ___ is to kil- oh pardon me, I mean, "put to sleep" right? But if you must know, ___ is being punished once more. Mortals are so fun to mess with, though most break so easily, but for this one...not so much." He laughs, shaking his head. "Slender..., I thought YOU out of all beings would teach your pets proper manners, mortals even more so!" The Shadow continues, folding his arms, pure delight on his face.

He waves his hand, and suddenly your desperate breathing and screams filling the forest around them. "You hear it?.... that lovely sound, ____ is a fun one." He laughs, then grins seeing Jeff's reaction as he seethes with anger. "Hahaha beautiful sounds! I can't seem to decide though, whether todrown _____ now or just simple set them on fire!" He says slowly in a malicious tone, letting the words linger off his tongue. Ben flinches at the thoughts of drowning, the word alone piecing him like draggers. "No... you're right.... What's the fun in that?! Killing someone right away isn't all that exciting....... Instead of letting you hear ______'s pain, I should just let you see her suffer slowly for yourselves!"

With a snap of his fingers, you emerge out of a cloud like black fog, your body soaking, bloody and your skin a grey, bluish tone. You gasp for air. Your weak state causes you to fall slowly to your knees. Your eyes look glazed over, other than that your didn't have any marks, but it's apparent that you're weaker and nearly drained of your life. You body fall completely to the ground, too weak to keep yourself upright.
