A/n: Here it is; the highly requested part 2. ( ^ω^ ) Thank you all so much for the wonderful and positive comments. <3
Adrien's POV
"Your highness, you can't just simply storm into the home of every maiden in the kingdom looking for a girl who lost her shoe!", a royal adviser screeched.
Adrien shook his head, pacing the throne room, shoe in hand. "She's not just a girl. I want to marry her. I saw a light in her eyes that I've never seen before."
Another adviser scoffed. "You met her for 2 minutes, how could you possibly want to marry a girl like that?"
King Gabriel rose from his throne with his wife,
staring down the advisors. "I met your queen at a cotillion, and it was merely for 10 minutes. Are you saying that I made a poor decision for this kingdom?"
The advisors stepped back, and the Prince looked at his father in surprise.
The King smiled. "Son, Adrien, go find this girl.
Marry her. I'm sure she's a wonderful maiden. I'll send a message through the palace messenger to deliver a letter to every home, telling them to prepare all of their maidens."
Adrien smiled, feeling his eyes tear up. "T-thank you father. I will find her. No matter what it takes."
Your POV
"YOU WENT TO THE COTILLION WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?!", screamed your owner. He brought down his worn whip upon your hands, making you whimper in pain. "The neighbors saw you sneak out that night. I know you went there. I-", your owner snarled.
A knock on the door made your heart skip a beat. Your owner growled, and made his way to the door. You struggled in your tied chair, trying to free yourself.
The door slammed shut on the visitor, and your owner walked back to you with a gleam in his eye.
"The Prince met a girl at the cotillion, and apparently she ran away, so he's sending a search party for her."
Your heart leaped in your chest. Adrien's looking for me.
"There's no way you're that girl, but there's no way I'm letting him see you. You're a complete disaster of a woman anyway. You're useless", he cackled, wrenching you from the chair and dragging you up the stairs.
You were thrown into the attic, and the door slammed and locked shut with a bang.
"You can come out when the Prince has checked the house", said the muffled voice through the door. Then he was gone.
You felt your heart twist with fear. Adrien won't find me. He'll find another girl whom the shoe fits, and I'll... I'll never see him again.
You looked down at your beaten hands in despair, and began to cry. It's not fair.. I... I could've been a Princess.. You looked out a  small, broken window into the empty street. I loved him.
You began to sing a soft melody that carefully floated down to the street below.
Adrien's POV
"Sir... That's it for the upperclass. We've visited 70% of the population.. That's.. 1,284 houses. There's only Level 5 and Level 6 classes from here. There's no way she's there", a guard told the Prince as he guided the carriage down the winding streets.
Adrien ran a hand through his golden hair. "I don't care. I demand that we check these houses."
The guard sighed, and stopped the carriage. "So it begins, then. Let's go here first."
Adrien stepped out of the carriage onto the worn street. He strutted to a small, wooden shack with a crystal, broken window on the second floor.
He knocked.
"What is it?", a cranky old owner asked, opening it up. His eyes widened when he saw Adrien.
"Sir, do you have any maidens in your home?"
The man snorted. "No no no, none here. Now, go away-".
Just as the owner almost shut the door on the Prince, Adrien stopped it, and pointed to the sky.
"Then where's that voice coming from?", he said, smiling.
A beautiful song could be heard.
The old man stuttered, "I-it's just my slave. She's worthless."
Adrien laughed. "I'd hardly think so. I'll be going up there. Now." He pushed the owner aside and walked swiftly through the house, up the stairs, and to the attic door.
Adrien broke down the locked door, and stepped inside the musty, faintly lit room.
It contains dusty pictures and frames, some furniture, and even some children's toys.
His eyes widened at the sight of a young girl sitting on the floor next to the window, singing a soft melody. She stopped, and turned to him with bright e/c eyes.
It's her.
Your POV
It's him. Adrien. He came for me.
He slowly stepped across the room to you, and you quickly rose to your feet. You looked up at him with pleading eyes.
"It's you", he whispered, grazing his hand across your dirty cheek.
You choked, your eyes tearing up. "H-how did you know?"
Adrien smiled, wrapping his arms around you.
"I don't need a shoe to tell me who my princess is. You have her eyes. The eyes that saw through me, and showed me the truth in this world through no words."
You shook, beginning to sob. "I'm sorry, I lied to you.. I'm nothing more than a dirty servant girl."
Adrien shook his head. "Never say that again. That's all appearance." He ran a hand through your messy, dirty h/c hair. "Underneath all of the hard work you've put into living in these conditions; blood, sweat, and tears, is a beautiful, sweet girl who said she didn't know how to dance. But let me tell you.. That was the best dancing I've ever seen."
You laughed slightly, balling up fists up Adrien's white button-up shirt, and burying your face into his chest. He stroked your hair, kissing your collarbone.
"You'll never have to go through any of this again", he whispered to you, kissing your forehead. He blinked, and noticed your hands.
"Who did this?", he said sternly. You whimpered as he touched your palms gently.
"M-my owner", you said softly. Adrien's eyes softened, and he kissed your hands lightly.
"I'll have the man arrested and punished immediately. No more harm will ever come to you", Adrien promised, spinning you around.
You smiled at him as he took your hands, and got down on a knee.
"Miss y/n, will you do me the greatest honor of becoming my wife, my Princess, and Parism's future Queen?", Adrien asked confidently. You giggled happily for the first time in a long time, and smiled down at the Prince.
I get a second chance at life.
This is it.
No more hard work or pain.
It has all lead up to this.
I'm...
I'm going to become a Princess.
You didn't have to think for a second about your answer.
"Yes!"
