You had just ran a couple miles to blow off some steam from that morning, and ended up taking a break in the nearest park you could find, a ways away from the main part of the city. You sat down on a bench, and felt tears come to your eyes once more.
*Flashback*
You turned the corner of the hallway to see Adrien talking to Chloe near your next class. You took for cover next to a water fountain, listening in on the conversation.
"What?!", Chloe screeched. "WHY WON'T YOU JUST ACCEPT ME?!", she screamed again. She danced around angrily as Adrien ran a hand through is hair.
"I'm sorry Chloe, but I already love someone. She's amazing... And well...", he began.
That's all you needed to hear. Your crush was already in love with someone else. You ran from your hiding spot not caring if either of them saw you crying, and bolted out the school doors. You didn't care if you skipped class, you just needed to be alone and free.
*End of Flashback*
You sighed, tired from all of the running. Looking around, it seemed that the park was littered with couples, and the numbers slowly decreased as the sky got darker. You sighed once more, but didn't want to go home. Suddenly, you spotted a dark figure creeping up to you from the corner of your eye.
"Y/n?", the figure spoke softly. You turned to see Chat Noir! You blinked in surprise.
"Chat? How do you know my name?", you asked politely. He's practically famous! Why does he know ME of all people?
Chat shrugged off the question.
"What happened?", he asked carefully.
You sighed again, bringing your knees to your chest, resting back on the bench as Chat Noir came to your side.
"Nothing", was your reply.
"Look at your face!", he exclaimed. "I can tell something's wrong. You can tell me."
You looked at him and believed him. I don't know him, so I guess it's okay?
"Well... It's just... I'm too much of a coward to ask me crush out... And I just found out he loves someone else", you muttered.
Chat Noir sat up. "I bet you aren't a coward. It's difficult to like someone. What's his name?", he pondered.
You laughed slightly. "Well, I guess there's no chance that you know him.... His name's Adrien. Adrien Agreste", you confessed.
Chat Noir froze, and had a strange gleam in his eye. You scooted away from him as he stood up and turned to you.
"Y/n", Chat Noir spoke. He seemed to be blushing through the mask.
"If you wish.... You can ask him out now", he said that plainly. He reached for his shimmering ring, and slowly pulled it off.
You sat in shock. Chat Noir suddenly transformed into a normal boy. The black disappeared and changed into clothes you were very familiar with, and his bright green eyes stood out more coming from behind his mask, along with his glowing blonde hair. Chat Noir is Adrien Agreste?!?
"Hi", Adrien said, grinning.
You stood up, shaking. "B-b-but, y-you... You... What?", you stuttered, paralyzed. He smiled warmly at you, taking your hand.
"The girl I love is you, y/n. Would you go out with me?", he whispered gently. His eyes seeped with kindness and care, something you had never seen before. This all seemed so unreal. But in the end, you managed to speak.
"Yes", you responded, smiling. You squeezed his hand, never wanting to let go.
