Today is the day my book will come to an end.

I absolutely had no idea it would get this far.
I honestly got really emotional writing this chapter, and I understand if it's a bit confusing for some of you, but these are my honest feelings and thoughts about the Miraculous fandom. I know I already wrote a heart-spoken note to you all, so I'll keep this short.
Thank you all again so much for this wonderful and incredible journey.

Your POV
"Adrien, I really need to go".
"Y/n! I don't understand. Where are you going?!", your boyfriend pleaded, tugging at your shirt.
You shoved past him, hurriedly grabbing your belongings and shoving them in a suitcase. You snapped the lid shut, and heaved a heavy sigh.
"You wouldn't understand, Adrien. I really need to go", you sighed, pushing past him down the stairs of your home.
"Wait!", he called after you.
You slammed open your front door, picking up your pace as you hurried down the busy sidewalk.
"Y/n, wait!", Adrien called again.
You turned a corner, and tried to call for a taxi.
"Y/n", Adrien said angrily, grabbing your arm, panting. "What's going on? Why are you suddenly leaving? Where aRE YOU GOING?!"
You couldn't look him in the eye. "I'm tired, Adrien. Can we talk about this la-".
"Tired of me? Of us?", Adrien whimpered, putting a hand on his heart.
"No, no!", you countered, waving your hands frantically.
A cab screeched to a halt next to you on the street. You sighed.
"You're making this difficult. Just come with me", you muttered, opening the taxi door for both you and him.
Adrien got in, obligingly.
...
The car trip to the airport was almost a silent success.
"Y/n, please, talk to me", Adrien whispered, placing his hand on yours.
You took a deep breath. "I need to go.. because.. it's my time to go".
Adrien blinked at you- confused. You turned to face him in your seat.
"I've been in this fandom for a year- I MEAN- w-with you, for a year. It's time that I moved on".
"...so I was right. You're tired of me", Adrien growled, his eyes clouding.
"No- Adrien.. I'll always love you. You, Chat Noir, and that whole city. I just have to.. admire you in a new way. Behind the screen".
Adrien looked shocked.
"What does that even mean?!"
You squirmed uncomfortably. "I'm not from here. This world- this universe- this dimension-".
"Y/n!! Please! This doesn't make any sense! You said you were born in c/n!"
You gulped. "Look- I lied about a lot of things. It was to protect myself- and you... and now, I need to go back to where I actually came from. It's my time".
The taxi came to a screeching halt at the entrance to the airport. You jumped out of the cab (after quickly paying for the ride, of course), and made your way up the sidewalk to the main doors.
"Y/n!", you heard from behind you.
You froze- your hands on the handles of the large glass doors.
"Y/n. I love you so much.. please.. don't leave me".
You turned to see a crying Chat Noir, begging on his knees.
You knelt down beside him- getting emotional yourself. "Chat- Adrien.. I don't have a choice. I need to go. It's best for both of us that I move on. I've gotten tired of writing- I mean, being with you. I'm sorry, but I need to go. It's now or never for me.. and..", you whispered, tears welling up in your eyes.
"I want to experience new things. I'll always love you, and I'll never forget you. You're a part of me now- especially in cosplay- but you'll always be in my heart. I love you".
Chat raised a hand to your face, resting his forehead on yours. "I get it. I understand. You have your world, and I have mine", he said softly, smiling through his tears.
You blinked back your own tears as you both stood up, and embraced one last time.
"It was fun", he whispered.
"Thank you", you whispered back.
Letting go, your hand lingered on his.
"I love you, y/n", Chat smiled, releasing your hand.
You smiled back, reaching for the doors that would lead you into your unknown future.
...
