Radhika's pov

I woke up with a heavy head. I did not remember much of yesterday except what happened at home and some nonsense from the bar and talking about my dad with Rishabh. What I didn't remember at all was how I ended up where I was. It was so unfair. I decided to be responsible and not drink yet I ended up with spotty memory.

"Good morning sleepy head" Rishabh wished me as he came out of bathroom shirtless. I couldn't believe it. He has no boundaries. I was ogling him. He is my boss. This is beyond inappropriate. I should look away but those water droplets dripping his bare chest were really hard to resist.

"Where are we? What am I doing here?" I sounded like a lovestruck teenager. My voice betrayed me. I cleared my throat "I mean, I don't remember checking into this hotel, what is going on?"

"Finally you're back to your senses. We're in Pune. It was pretty late and you were being completely out so I decided not to take the risk of driving with an insane person"

I rolled my eyes "It's not funny"

"You have been sleeping for really long. Just get up, get ready so we can leave. We're still on the clock here. We can't miss our meeting today. So, please stop wasting our time. The sordid details can wait"

"Wait, what? no- wait- first could you please wear a shirt?" I requested

He smirked at me. I hate that smirk. "Too distracting?"

"Too inappropriate. Now go to your room and wait for me to join you. On second thoughts, why are you in my room at all?"

"Our room" he emphasized. "Just Incase you haven't noticed I came out of the same bathroom just now. Plus, I'm standing in front of you trying to get ready. We shared the room"

"What? Why aren't we staying separately? Why would you want to- Oh God! Did we-"

"Stop. No. You're spiralling way out of hand.
It was you who asked for a single room stating Mr. And Mrs. Jaisingh. You didn't want to be alone so I stayed to stand guard. Obviously you don't remember and you won't believe me either so come down and ask at the reception or just believe me simply. Your wish "

I actually do not remember anything and I don't trust him either for leaving out some details. So, maybe I should confirm at the reception.

I freshen up and went down. I saw Rishabh waiting for me in the car but he was busy with his phone so I decided to go to the reception to confirm.

"Hello Mrs. Jaisingh" the guy at the reception greeted me "I hope your stay was nice with us" he continued smiling at me.

"I-I umm Mrs. Jai-"

"Yes Mrs. Jaisingh, you came with your husband last night and wanted a room for yourselves" he replied and smiled.

I just simply nodded and headed back to Rishabh. I realized that alcohol or no alcohol, my memory is not that trustworthy.

I opened the door and sat next to Rishabh we spoke nothing to each other. There was all silence when I decided to break it.

"Look I'm really sorry for yesterday. I caused you alot trouble. I'm sorry about my parents as well. You shouldn't have to deal with my family issues. It isn't fair or appropriate for that matter. I feel very bad about it."

He smiled. He didn't say anything and I was grateful. It is bad enough that he got sucked into my family drama and had to take care of me, I don't want him to get anymore involved. When the lines get blurry, complications increase.

"Have you ever been to Juhu?" I asked to change the topic

"No, I have been here so many times but never really seen any of it. I am not a very found of roaming around so I never visited Juhu. Never had anyone to visit with either " there was a hint of sadness in his voice. I could tell it effected her.

"If you are free tomorrow after the meetings we can take a little tour?"

"With me?"

"Um.. yeah! I realizing you're not that boring of a company" I  smiled. He nodded and smiled back.

We had no breakfast since we were running late and by the the time I reached the hotel I was starving.

"Get ready in half an hour. I am really hungry. We will eat something first and then go for the meeting with Mr. Sinha" Rishabh told me the plan.

I simply nodded and headed towards my room. I took a shower and aspirins to make myself feel better.

As I came, I heard the knock on the door. I wrapped myself in the bathrobe and opened the door. It was the housekeeper with a cup of coffee.

"It's for you, ma'am" he said

"But I didn't -"

"Your friend did" I didn't say anything. I simply nodded and let him in. He put the tray on the table and left.

After he left, I saw the note beside the coffee.

There is a strong coffee with little sugar, this will help you with your headache. Get ready soon.
-Rishabh

I couldn't resist but smile at his simple gesture. I don't know what this feeling. It wasn't something I normally felt with him.

I got dressed in a pencil skirt and a grey blouse. I grabbed my belongings and left the room.

We went to beautiful restaurant for lunch. Rishabh choose that place as it was near to Mr. Sinha's office.

The meeting went really well and it was really long this time as we had to meet many people and discuss alot of important details regarding our contract before we can go ahead and finalize it.

After the meeting got over and we left the office with Arjun and Pakhi.

"Why don't you both join us for dinner?" Arjun asked.

"I had a long day I am really tired I'm sorry guys, I can't join you. Rishabh! Maybe you can" I replied and looked at Rishabh. Before Rishabh could answer, Pakhi jumped in.

"I'm tired too. What about lunch tomorrow?" Pakhi suggested

"Sounds nice" I replied and Rishabh and Arjun nodded in sync.

Arjun and Pakhi left in there car and I joined Rishabh.

"We were supposed to go to Juhu tomorrow, right?" Rishabh asked

"Don't worry we will." I replied and smiled he smiled back at me.

We reached the hotel and I was so drained out that I took a shower change into comfortable clothes and with no time I was asleep.
