"Quit Mark! I saw you! Just don't deny it because this just won't work even if you tried!" I yelled. I never guessed that out of me and Mark, the power couple that was thought to last for a pretty long time would be fighting, in the rain. I mean, what are the chances? At the moment, one hundred percent guaranteed. Mark Tuan. I always thought that he would individualize me. I thought I was special to him.

"Look, Kyuri," he breathed heavily from running after me through the slippery streets. "It's not what you think." I let out a hoarse chuckle, "Not what I think? Bullshit. Newsflash for you, Mark, seeing is believing. If I saw you kissing the girl, then I'm gonna believe that you kissed the girl."

"Damn Kyuri, just let me explain!" he released his anger. He was tired of being patient. In all honesty, he was terrified to lose you. I was taken aback. He shook his head realizing that he did something wrong and begged, "Please just come with me, Kyuri," he held out his hand out. I sighed and shook my head. I didn't want to even come in contact with him.

"Just please come under the umbrella, please," he emphasized his plea. I looked away from him and obeyed to what he said, and we walked to a nearby cafe. We sat down and ordered something to drink. I was avoided his gaze, looking and focusing everything but the boy in front of me even though we were sitting across from each other. Funny, huh? There were many times we locked eyes with each other. As our drinks arrived, Mark was the first one to speak up.

"Drink up, Kyuri." I rolled my eyes and still did what he said. "What do you want Mark?" I asked. Mark smirked, attempting to bring the heavy mood up.

"Well Santa, all I want for Christmas is for my girlfriend to forgive me, and let me explain what happened." He replied. "Well it isn't Christmas season, so I guess you're girlfriend isn't going to forgive you anytime soon, since you're on the naughty list." I breathed and shot back at him, showing him that I wasn't in the mood to joke around. And yet, he persisted, "So I'm on the naughty list, huh?" he smirked. I rolled my eyes. He quit joking and sighed.

"Look Kyuri, she made me do it. She said she would hurt you if I didn't do it," he explained. I looked over to him. The only that was running through my head was Why the hell is he making up a stupid lie?

"How Mark?" I asked, "How can I believe you? I want to believe you, but how do I know for sure?"

"You don't have to if you don't want to," he said. "Besides, I was there Kyuri," a voice spoke up. I searched around the cafe to find where the voice came from. Zaryna, my best friend stood up from a nearby table.

"Zee?" I said in shock. She smiled softly and came to out table, "I was with Taylor when it happened. We were both eating outside when we saw Alex drag him outside. Then, we saw Mark and Alex arguing about something, and Alex basically yelled and threatened saying that if he didn't kiss her now, then she would send people to hurt you. We all know Alex. Come on, she hates you and you hate her. It's a mutual feeling. We've seen what she can do. Mark wasn't left much choice to do what he could. We believed her. Mark only did it to protect you. Please understand. He's willing to give up so much for your safety. You might've seen one side of the picture, but you haven't seen all the sides." Zee explained to me with her sincerity. I looked over to Mark at multiple times when Zee was talking. I stayed quiet and Zee continued to talk.

"Look, Mark is telling the truth. He doesn't have it in him to lie like that. In fact, if his dream were to ever become an actor, his dreams would be crushed. He just told you the truth, so please trust him Kyuri," she cooed and rubbed my shoulder. "Are you going to trust him from now on?" she asked. I gave a small nod. She, then, turned to Mark. "I think my job is done here. You got it from here, right?"

"Yea, thanks so much Zee," he thanked her. She smiled and rubbed my back comforting me, before leaving walking out of the cafe. We met in contact with a small silence. It was my turn to pipe up, "I'm sorry Mark. I'm sorry for not listening to you, for not trusting you," I breathed softly. "For not believing you even though you've never lied to me-" I was caught off guard when he grabbed my face and placed his lips on mine. He moved his lips slowly over mine, before letting me go. He chuckled to see my reddened face, "Okay good, now you shut up." I hit his arm, and he let out the light hearted laugh that I love, "I forgive you, Kyuri. I'm also sorry. I shouldn't have fell through and kissed her. There had to be another way to get her out of the situation."

I shook my head, "This is Alex we're talking about babe. There's not really much you could've done period. She's crazed in her little world." I reached over and entwined my fingers with Mark's. "Let's forget about it. It'll always be okay."
