My love. The only person I laid my eyes on. The only one I wanted to have, to call my own; he's getting married today, in about three hours. So why am I here? To stop the wedding of course. I can't let the wrong guy and wrong girl marry each other. The truth is.. I had to sneak into the wedding, because Sunmi doesn't really like me. She knows I'm in love with Mark, so she crossed my name off the invite list.
I walked through the ceremonial building and stopped at the door that was labeled, "Bridal Room". I slowly opened the door and left a small crack where I could look inside.
"Honey, you're so beautiful. Mark is so lucky to have you as the bride," a woman said, Probably Sunmi's mother. I walked away and looked at the wedding area where the horrendous event would take place. I opened the doors, and the room was full of buzz. I saw Mark to our friends: Jackson and Jimin. I chuckled to myself realizing that Jimin was wearing the suit that I picked out for him.
"Everyone! Please take your seats, for this beautiful event will take place in a matter of a few minutes!" the maid of honor, Seohyun, spoke up. People started filing to their designated seats. However, I closed the door and walked away. I was for sure to stand out from the crowd, considering I didn't bother to dress up for today.
"Dad! I can't believe I'm marrying him today!" a voice squealed. My eyes widened. I didn't even have to see who it was to know that I had to run and hide. Where did I run, you might've asked? To the women's room. Then, I heard the cliche song. It sounded like a death march rather than a marriage that was happening in my opinion. I walked back to the wedding entrance. It seems like I wasn't the only one. Since Junior, one of Mark's different blood mother brother, was trying to also get in. Shit, the door is chained together.
"Oh hey Kyuri. What are you doing here?" he asked casual as he looked around for a way to get in. I took a deep breath. "I need to crash it. I'm here for Mark. He's marrying the wrong girl." I explained.
"I agree. Sunmi noona doesn't want to be friendly to anyone but Mark." he released a sigh in relief. "I'll help crash."
"Really? Thank you so much! Should we get started?" I asked. Junior smiled and nodded as he worked on trying to break the chains open. I placed my ear against the wooden door.
"Tuan Mark, do you take Lee Sunmi as your beloved wife?" the preacher/wedder asked. There was a long pause before the two scariest words were said: "I do."
"Speak now or forever hold your peace," I heard a loud clatter and turned my attention to Junior and his now bloody knuckles. He turned, "Hurry, you have a wedding to save." I smiled back and pushed the doors open, running down the aisle with waving hands.
"Stop the wedding!" I yelled. Everyone perked up and turned their attention to me. The collection of gasp scared me, but I still made myself stand there. "Mark, I like you a lot. I really do," I pronounced. "Don't you want to be with me?" Everybody, in unison, turned back to him, quite on edge as to what his answer was going to be. Then, he turned to Sunmi.
"I'm sorry Sunmi-ssi. I can't anything that I would want in you. He sincerely apologized. Sunmi heaved softly as she looked away, on the verge of tears. Afterwards, almost immediately, her face glowered in anger.
"You're supposed to be with me. I mean who wouldn't want to marry me?" her voiced raised loudly. Another collection of gasps filled the room. The one that thought traveled through everyone's minds was 'What the heck just happened to the innocent Sunmi we knew?' Oh wait. She was never there. I couldn't help but smirk at her outburst.
"I can't do it. I can't bring myself to it. Sorry," he spoke. He turned over to me with a smile of relief as if he was thanking me.
"Shall we go, Mark?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. He intertwined his fingers into mine. We didn't exchange any words as we ran out of the chapel. We heard people running behind us, as if they were chasing us. After we were a few blocks away, I stopped.
"Kyuri? What's wrong?" he asked, eyes filled with concern. I laughed to myself as I placed my hands on my knees. "I need to catch my breath after that." I turned around to see if anyone was still running after us. His band members happened to come by.
"Where are you guys going?" Jackson questioned, "I wanna come too! The wedding was boring." He faked a yawn and then focused his attention to me.
"Nice job saving that wedding, Kyuri. I thought it would've never ended. It was getting too boring. You at least put a bit of drama into it. Plus, we never like Sunmi. She was a bit too bitchy for our taste," he said, shoving a finger on his tongue, motioning that Sunmi was not a good person. I giggled to myself.
"Gee, thanks. But I only did it for Mark. I've loved him for such a long time. My heart broke to hear that he was getting married anytime soon," I smiled and looked back to lock eyes with Mark. He smiled at me genuinely.
"Tell me what you said during the the ceremony. Tell me again. He ordered. I racked through my brain, trying to remember what I said. I recited it. "Mark I love you. I really do. Don't you want to be with me?"
He smirked and took a step forward before he raised my chin. He crashed into my lips softly, giving my a chaste kiss. I felt the tingles from my stomach spreading though my body. I let go first to grab from air, but we ended up touching each other, forehead to forehead.
"I love you too, and NO. I do want to be with you," he started into my eyes lovingly. We were interrupted by an awkward cough. We turned back to the guys and let go of each other.
"Are you guys done now? We should get going now." JB said. Everyone glared at him for ruining the small moment. JB realized what he did and laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. Everybody groaned at their leader in disappointment.
"Why'd you have to ruin the moment? I was watching a real kdrama right now.." Youngjae complained. I smiled and giggled.
"So who wants pizza?" I asked, and smiled when everybody's hand shot up including mine. I nodded and pointed to the pizza shop across the street. Everybody looked at each other and stampeded over to the parlor.
