The music blasted in the room as I was sitting on the floor, watching the dance routine repetitively. Each time the video ended, I gathered up what I could remember and tried to dance to what I could remember.

Dancing and singing was my passion, but I was a late comer for my parents had a different view on your career path. They saw me as a doctor, but after many hours of discussion, they reluctantly gave in to let me be what I wanted to be. I was already a junior in high school and decided to enter an entirely new field. This resulted me to take double the amount of classes than a regular junior would take (since I agreed to have something to fall back on if my career in performing arts didn't go as I planned). However, I didn't give up, for the passion to enter the entertainment world was my motivation.

Currently, I was working on a dance practice consisting of hip hop. I was to present this dance a day from tomorrow. My partner, also my current lover, didn't need any help with memorizing steps, because they just came to him. I, on the other hand, took a bit of time synchronize the dance piece.

It was a dancing hip-hop genre, so I was able to grasp the main points of the piece fairly quickly, but I still needed to work on the small, but small key points of the piece fairly quickly. However, I still couldn't grasp certain points of the song like the small, but key points of the dance. I was rewatching the dance routine so intently, I didn't realize that Mark walked into the room until the door slammed from behind.

"I'm back!" he yelled but soon realized that I was too busy watching the video to acknowledge him properly. He looked at my laptop screen to see my eyes glued to the dance that him and I were supposed to cover. He chuckled and plucked the earphones out of my ears. I turned around, alarmed with the fact that someone made you stop watching the video. I sighed in relief as I saw that it was only Mark.

"I can help if you needed it," he offered. I smiled.

"I would really like that." He helped me up, and he focused on helping me get this dance down.
