Getting Ready

"AHH! HE ASKED YOU OUT? OH MY GAWD. THIS IS A HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR YOU!" Seohyun yelled over the phone so loudly that I had to put the phone about half a food away from my face.

     "Yea. It's very exciting, but I have a problem girl." I calmly  spoke I might've been able to control my emotions, but that won't last long. "What is it Kyuri?"she asked. I took a deep breath and put the phone next to my cheek.

     "Well, the date is today at two in the afternoon," I squealed (remember when I said I couldn't hold my excitement any longer? Yea..) "Yea, I don't see what the problem is. We don't have school. It's the weekend," she spoke, confusion mixed in her voice.

     "Well it's one right now," I chuckled nervously, "And I just woke up." There was a huge silence in the phone lone wondering what happened to her. I heard the dial tone again, showing that she hung up.

     "Gee, thanks for the advice, Seohyun," I muttered sarcastically and hung up the phone. I sighed the forced myself out of bed. I stretched slowly and trudged to the bathroom to brush my teeth and washed my face. In the mist of it all, I heard the doorbell ring. I didn't care who it was at this point, so I left the toothbrush in my mouth and went to open the door.

     I opened the doors to see a Seohyun with a huge box. Without questioning her, I kept brushing my teeth as I let her in and close the door behind her.

     "I almost got a speeding ticket because of you," she stated, "but I didn't, because I told them I was in a hurry." My eyes widened. I was so shocked, I almost spit my foamy mouth in her face. Fortunately, I didn't. "Come on, I didn't almost get a speeding ticket to see you fail at your date with Mark. Now hurry up!" she ordered. She dashed into the bathroom where I finished brushing my teeth, and she washed my hair. I smiled as she shampooed my hair just like my mom would when I was younger. She toweled dried my hair and got the curling iron.

     "Why'd you bring that son of a gun?" I asked. I always despised those things. "To curl your hair a little. It'll give you wavy hair. I know you hate using these, but it's your fault for waking up late, "she blamed me.

     "Fine, go ahead," I pouted and scowled whiel she sectioned off my hair and started curling it. At the same time, she applied some eyeliner and a light coat of lip gloss. She turned off the iron and pulled me into my room. She swiftly looked through one side of my closet, and she took out a pair of white shorts, a white tank top and a dark blue dark blouse and turned to me.

     "You're going to the park, right?" she asked. I nodded, wondering how she knew. "Mark likes nature. Of course he would ask you to the park," she spokt, and threw the clothes at me. "Put it on. I'll put some stuff in your purse," she said and ran to rearrange stuff in my purse. I sighed and lazily threw on some clothes. She started touching up the clothes on my body and slung the purse over my shoulder.

     "Look in the mirror to see how you lock," she motioned me over to the full length mirror. I walked over to it to myself being PRETTY.

     "I did a pretty amazing job. Didn't I?" she asked. I nodded and heard the doorbell ring once again. It was my big time. "Go and have fun girl," she hugged me, "You're a beautiful person, and if he doesn't see it, he isn't worth it, got it?" I nodded. "Now go have fun. I'll be waiting here for you to spill every detail!"

     I ran out of the door, mentally thanking Seohyun for all she did for me. I ran out so fast out the door that I almost crashed into Mark with full force. I was able to make a sudden stop that I almost tripped. I closed my eyes waiting for the cement to hit me with full force. I opened my eyes to see me.. on top of Mark. My cheeks saturated with a deep red shade as I got up and helped him up.

     "S-sorry about- I j-just. I'm a little nervous,you know? This s my first date and yea," I apologized and explained, mentally facepalming for my stupid sayings. "It's okay Kyuri. I'm a little nervous too. This is my first time taking a girl out." he spoke. I looked at him and smiled shyly, "Let's just have fun." He chuckled. He took me by the hand, and we spent our time with each other.

     "I had such a nice time with you Kyuri," Mark kissed my forehead. I blushed and purposed, "I did too. Maybe we can do this again," he agreed and waved to me. Seohyun opened the door for me and pulled me inside.

     "Okay, it seems like y'all had fun. Spill EVERY SINGLE DETAIL."
