It's a quite night with a gentle breeze blowing through. Most of the people have already retired to their beds or otherwise preparing to, regaining their strengths for the next day. It's the start of June, half a year gone already. For some it's going to be a busy day, paying up bills or loans or stocking up their pantries or otherwise hoping to get their salaries. For the rest, it's just going to be another regular Wednesday. Just like for her

So it was a complete surprise when she heard the doorbell ring at 1 in the night. She had just come back from her 'me' time and was already settling into her bed. Thinking that everyone else would be asleep by now, she hurriedly picks up her nightgown and quietly descends the staircase.

She opens the door to find him standing there, a small bag hanging from his shoulder.

'Hi'

'Hi'

'Uh..', she said confusingly

'......'

'I am really happy to see you, dont get me wrong but what the hell are you doing here at this ungodly hour??? You had a late shoot, you should be in bed.'

He smiles. This girl never fails to amuse him, she can manage to show her care even when she is annoyed.

'Know what date is today?', he asks

'Uh, 1st of June. Why?'

' From June to August, you will experience an accident ', he recite in a haunting voice. 'I'm just here to fulfill my promise', he adds with a small smile.

And it all comes back to her. How that Sugod Bahay fortune teller had foretold that and he had swore on live national television that he would protect her at all costs. But it was so long ago....

'How... How ... Could you.... did you ..even remember that ', she mumbles; pure disbelief showing on her face.

All he does is give her a bright smile, his dimple on full display

Cause he remembers

When it comes to her he remembers everything
