Selfish

'Thanks RJ', she whispered to him while they were busy posing for photos. Friends, family, fans were busy capturing his arrival at Matti's birthday

'Dont mention it' , he whispered back, set of his fine teeth on full display

'Aren't you getting late for the event?', she asked even though all she wanted was him to say here. But she knows he made a promise , and he never breaks it

'They'll understand Maine.. Family first.'

Her eyes brimmed with unshed tears

'RJ... You don't have any idea how much happy you have made me today. It's like I'm back in Bora. I knew you promised to come but I still wasn't sure about it.. Cause with your busy schedule and the ride from here to the event..'

'Maine... I told you, when I love someone I give them time. This is what I'm doing.'

She smiles, heart bursting with love for him

' And to be honest I was just being selfish '

'Selfish? How come?'

'My happiness depends on your happiness Maine. If you are happy , safe, assured means I'm happy. So, ya...', he shrugs his shoulders

'Oh... Is that really?', she asks as she flashes him a smirk and grabs his hand

'Hey.. Wait.. where are we going? They are going to be looking for you here Maine...'

'Its my turn to be selfish', she says as fans shriek seeing an excited Maine pulling Alden behind her, a goofy smile plastered on his face towards the hotel entrance.
