Maddie's POV
I grab my phone off the counter and take out the charger, my phone reads 88%. That's good enough for me at least.... I wash my face in the bathroom and get dressed in dark jean shorts and a coral color tank top that brings out my blue eyes. I then put my hair in a PONEY tail as I hear my phone vibrating... I text Jojo a few things and then I'm ready to leave.
"Mom I'm leaving" I say as I walk into the living room
"Where are you going?!" She asks
"To the park with Jojo" I answer back swiftly
"Can I come?" Kenzie asks from the middle of no where
"Not this time" I answer
"Why???" She asks
"Just drop it" I say In a stern voice. She atomically retreats as I walk out the door.

When I finally get to the park I take out my phone and text Jojo
Hi where are you Jojo?
I'm by the waterfront
Near the fox tail palm tree
Okay...
I see you
Be there in a second
I walk towards Jojo to see she set up a nice picnic a yard or two from the waters edge. As I got close she smiled at me causing me to smile back.
"Jojo you did to much?!?" I say gasping at such a nice layout of food and a beautiful red and pink checkered picnic blanket.
"You deserve it.... You saved my life you know!!!" Jojo explained
I sat down next to Jojo and we ate and looked at the water for what seems like hours.... Just rarely ever glancing at one another. After what feels like eternity of silence Jojo opens her mouth
"It's nice out here" she says with a smirk
"Why the smirk?" I ask jokingly
Jojo had really pretty big old eyes... If she had killed herself.... I don't think I could have lived with out seeing her eyes....
"I was thinking" she answers with a slight blush
"About what?" I ask
"About this" she says as she leans in and kisses me... When we break away Jojo has tears in her eyes and she runs away...
