Everyone was quiet. The women before us was beautiful. Long, wavy brown hair. Soft blue eyes and flawless skin. She looked 30 but she had to be 40. Prince looked at the women, and they looked alike. She looked at prince with sparkling eyes. He stood there just staring no emotion. She looked at him with scared eyes and looked at the rest of us. "Well let's go inside." John said walking inside. As prince asked her she whispered a name.

I didn't catch it but it started with an r. We walked inside and followed john to a room with a red couch that looked old and soft. We sat in the couch and sat quietly. "Why?" Prince said out of the blue. She looked at him with sorrowful eyes. "I-I I had to." She said softly. He tensed. "Why would you leave me alone with this curse? Do you understand what I went through!? If you were there it would have been easier! Someone who I knowen cared about me so I wouldn't feel so alone! Why did you leave!?" He asked and slightly yelled.

"I was forced to." She said softly and a tear ran down her face. I put a hand on princes shoulder. "Calm down. Your scaring her." I whispered. "Listen." I said and held his hand. He sighed and faced her. "Alice and Melissa said that if I stayed with you they would kill you or take you away forever......I begged for your safety but they hissed and laughed at me. I offered everything even my life and they didn't agree. The only thing they agreed to was leaving you on your 4 birthday. After midnight I had to be car away from you as possible.

When I heard of their death, meaning your life is no longer in danger, and that you are dating a girl I had to see you. So I sent your uncle to find you." She explained. Tear ran down her face. I felt so sorry for this mother who never had the chance to raise her only child. I felt water build up in my eyes. Shit don't cry be strong for him. Crap! A tear ran down my face in sorrow for the women. I felt a finger wipe off the tear. "Sorry." I apologized. "Don't be." Prince said wiping my tear away then Holding my hand.

"I know I can't be the mother I wished I could be but I want to be there for you." She said. "Emily it's ok." Prince said. "Emilia." She corrected. "Sorry. You may live at the castle if you wish." He offered standing up. "I'll have to think about it but you look hungry let me go make something." She said walking to a door way framed in rich wood. "I'll help." I said following her. What we need to bond i mean I'm dating her son offer all.

"Thank you sweety but you should be with ry-" I cut her off. "I want to help and we could get to know each other." I said. Shit she almost said his name. Wait why don't I just ask her. Wait no that sounds weird I mean 'hey um what's your sons name ever though I'm dating him' that sounds stupid. "What's your name?" She asked me. "Andy cattail. You?" I said stirring something she handed me. "Emilia Wolfe." She said slightly smiling saying Wolfe. "What's princes full name?" I asked. Yeah that still sounds stupid.

"Oh what's it been...15. 14 years since I've said his name....Ryder Lee Wolfe." She said smiling. "He never told me his first or middle name." I said laughing softly. "Oh he did that to everyone he met when he was 3 I guess it stuck. I'm surprised he didn't since your dating." She said putting some chicken breast in the ovan. "I guess so. What is your favorite color? Mines turquoise." I said slicing bread. "I like that color mine and his fathers was emerald green." She said sadly saying father. "His father was a brave man. From all the stories I hear about him he sounds amazing." I said trying to make her remember the good times.

Shit that might make her sadder! "He was and always be. Ryder looks exactly like him." She said. I nodded and smiled a bit. "When he was little he had dark blue eyes. His father had dark green." She said making Mac and cheese. "Any job?" She asked. "Besides keeping Ryder in check..nope. You?" She smiled and laughed For a second. "I'm a vet." She said pointing to a door with animals carved into it. Every animal from dog to whale, cat to zebra. Every animal you could think of was there carved into the wood. As I looked over the doors beautiful carvings I saw prince talking to Emilia. "I will." Was all I heard. Prince walked out and Emilia took out the chicken.

"What did you guys talk about?" I asked walking to her. "I told him to take good care of you." she said taking out the buns. "more like me take care of him." I said jokingly. she smiled but I saw a bit of sadness in her eyes. "dinner!" she said loudly. John rushed in followed by ken, Kira and melody. after breaking the ice we actually had a funny conversation. it was about ken and Kira how every thing they took a bit their nose twitched along with their whiskers. Their tails kept swinging behind them and their ears twitched every time someone spoke. And melody brought up her wedding plans AGAIN!.

After dinner we helped clean up and got ready to leave. "It was an honor to meet you." john said waving. "and it was to you. I think that's how you say it." I laughed. After the goodbyes we rode home. prince was awful quiet the whole ride home. "Tomorrow I want you three to help me find a dress." Melody said. Something glinted in her eyes a emotion I haven't seen before. eh oh well. "Really you want me to help!" ken said in a girly voice. "oh gurl oh gurl it's going to be bootylious!" Ken said in a sassy girl voice. we died of laugher all the way home. "what us so funny guys?" ken asked poking me with his tail.

"I could hear you laughing while you were in the woods." scar said as we approached the castle entrance. We took the stales off our horses and headed inside. we called it a night and went to our rooms. well prince carried me to "ours". "you know I have legs right?" I said as we entered his room. "yeah but I like this better." he said and kissed me oh the lips. of course he had to do that on the stairs the goddamn stairs. the really long hard stairs. I'm implying that we fell down the damn things.

"Smooth" was all I needed to say. He was just laughing his head off. ha head. he helped me up and I walked out stairs. "stand there." he said and ran away. I stood and just stood there like a pole not moving. I heard footsteps very fast loud ones. shit! he jumped onto my back. "surprise piggyback ride!" he declared. I quickly found my balance and held him up. "dang girl you can hold a 135 pound man." he said and raised his fist in the air. "for NARIA and for aslan!" He said. "you child." I said and walked to his room. "I'm a child but you know you love me." he said jumping off my back. "yes I do."
