Chapter 39
Andy POV
I walked off and went to my tent and laid on the cot. I closed my eyes and felt my stomach cringe as a cramp waved through me. I filled over and laid on my back and put a pillow over my face. I closed my eyes and tried to relax, but it just didn't seem to feel right. What am I suppose to do? Shut out Felix? That's seems too harsh....but for princes sake I will. "Tomorrow?" I heard someone whisper outside my tent. "Yes at dawn." Someone whispered back. "Why so ear-" I heard a slap. "Fine I'll tell the others no need to hit." I heard footsteps run off. I jumped up and peeked outside. A soldier stood there with his hands on hips glaring at the guy running. "What's tomorrow?" I whispered, what could it be? A battle! I saw prince coming and jumped back onto the bed. I felt my stomach...how long have I been pregnant. "Hey there kitty cat uh you should get some rest." He said as I moved my hand from my shirt.
"I'm fine. So what's the plan for tomorrow?" I asked him as he sat on the cot. "For me? I'll be dealing with an issue and you will be here...." He trailed off not knowing how to finish that sentence. "What issue?" I asked a bit seriously. "Just something ok now get some rest ok kiddo." He said and kissed my forehead and walked out before I could say anything. ....wake up early, battle is upon us at dawn.... I heard Daryl say in my mind. I walked outside to see the sun was already setting. Jeez how long was I in my tent. I saw Daryl talking to Felix...something was going on. "No your the alpha! I'm not going to take your place!" Felix yelled at his brother. "I don't care your the rightful alpha Felix accept it already!" Daryl said to him a bit angry. "I would have my mark to prove it but I'm not the rightful alpha Felix you are! I'm stepping down from my place. You have no choice." As he said those words Felix tensed up and his eyes went black. He kneeled on the ground and a light shined on his back, shoulder, legs, and arms. He growled and whimpered in pain as his pack watched.
The light vanished and he fell onto the ground. Jim looked under his shirt and smiled. "His mark has been made. Felix is now the alpha the pack." He announced. Their pack didn't cheer nor move as they watched their new alpha get off the ground. "Now your alpha until death." Daryl said and walked off. Felix watched his brother with narrow eyes. "Can we see the mark?" Time asked Felix. "Fine." He growled and pulled his shirt off. He turned showing the black marks on him. Stripes like a cat lined his spines and biceps. They went down into his pants and on his legs I think. They faded near his...uh butt... And were like a tigers on his shoulders. "That's a lot of marks.." Jim said. "What does it mean though?!" Henry asked. "I think it means this alpha will have...a hard alpha hood." Someone said. I felt something burning on my thigh but I watched Felix instead. He noticed I was watching And smirked. Like what you see? He said in my mind. I narrowed my eyes and walked to Daryl's tent.
"Hey." He's aid looking down at his feet. He sat in a chair with his hair ruffled and the lights off. "Hey. You ok?" I asked him walking to him. "Yeah. I'm fine. What about you?" He asked looking up at me. The misery in his eyes made my heart sink. I touched his back and pulled him into a hug. He took a second to respond since we were sitting. He hugged me back and rested his head on mine. "It's gonna be ok. For both of us." He said. We stood like that for a minute until we pulled away. "How are you and Felix doing?" He asked me a bit nervous of my response. "Honestly....I have no idea what I'm going to do." I said and sat on his bed. I ran my fingers through my hair and tried to figure out this stupid problem. "You know...." He said making me look up. "Now the prophecy might happen." He said turning on a lamp. I stood up and just stared at him. He basically just put me in a even bigger situation. And he just said I have to save Felix's life while prince will kill him if I even talk to him. Great.
"Great." I muttered and Daryl just realized what he said. "I'm sorry-" I cut him off. "I know but it's true. I must go." I said and left him standing there. I walked to kens and Kira's tent for a bit of advice. "Hey Andy what's up?" Ken said. Kira's head popped up from behind the bed and raced to me. She gently touched my hips and put her head down to my stomach. "What are you doing!" Her ears went flat back and she made a thinking face. "Your pregnant." She said softly. Ken tilted a ear toward her. "I thought you knew ken?" I said a bit shocked that almost everyone can smell the baby. Ari walked in and stared at the scene before him. "I am I interrupting something?" He asked a bit unsure. Ken laughed a little and explained to him why Kira was doing that. "Your pregnant!" He said shocked. He ran his fingers through his hair and looked at the ground a small smile. "Well I'll be damned." He said. "So is robin."
Ambers POV
"You knows she's going to want to fight." I told gage as he looked at the tan tent flooring. "I know but she's pregnant. We can't let her fight. I'll make sure of that." I widened my eyes at the sudden take of action. I love it! "I'll take her back home tonight." He said. "How? You know she won't go with you she's very stubborn." I said touching his shoulder. "Drugs. I know how bad it sounds but the baby..." He said a bit sadden, I nodded and hugged him.
Later on I walked to Kens tent since he's a good friend of course. "Hey ken." I said closing the cloth behind me. "Hey amber. What up?" He said smiling showing me his cat teeth. "I'm ok. Just wondering if I could ask you something?" I said sitting down on the bed nex to him. "Shoot." He said to me with a curious glint in his cat eyes. "You know of Andy's pregnancy. Correct." He nodded.
"Well do you think it's a good idea for her to fight tomorrow or whenever that battle is happening?" I asked him and looked at the floor. "Honestly." He started and put a paw? On my shoulder. "I think it's the right thing to do. For prince Wolfe, Andy, and the baby." He said rolling his thumb on my boney shoulder.
"Thanks." I said to him and looked at him. I had a sudden feeling that...that something was wrong. His face expression changed as I felt it as if he felt it too. "Something's not right." We both said and ran out of the tent. I heard yelling and swords clashing. Splatters of blood covered the clearing in the center of camp. The green bodies ripped around or men like....snakes.
