I pulled up to Austin's house. I just kind of stared at it. It was a really big house. I got out of the car and looked at my phone before I walked to his door. It was 9:43pm. I was so curious to why he wants to hang out so late. I took a breath and rang his door bell. I heard a dog bark and him telling it to be quiet. He opened the door with a huge smile. "Hey! Love the shirt." He winked and gestured for me to come in. I totally forgot I had an Austin Carlile or Die shirt on.
"Thanks" I said looking up at him while walking in and look back down at the dog sniffing around my feet. I looked at Austin who was looking at me. "So, are you hungry? I can cook something to eat." He said.
"I had dinner at Elliot's." I said
"Oh, okay. We can just hang out then. Want me to show you around?" He asked.
"Yeah, I like seeing others houses."
"Why?" He asked curiously.
"I just like to see how others decorate. I like see they're pictures and hearing their story's. or see how they treat the place. Also, I like to see big houses like this for some reason." I said looking around. He giggled. "What? Do you think I'm weird?" I asked looking back at him.
"No, no!" He said putting his hands up. "Not weird. I think you're cute." I blushed a bit and looked back at the living room. "This is the living room obviously." I looked down at the side table next to the couch. There was a lamp and a picture. I picked it up looking at it.
"Is this your mom?" I asked. It was a picture of a woman holding a half naked boy.
"Yeah, that’s her." He said.
"She's gorgeous. And I'm assuming this is you." I said grinning at him.
“Yup that’s me. What happened, I was so cute.” He said chuckling.
“You grew up and got really attractive.” I regretted saying the moment it came out. My cheeks got hot red as I looked down setting the picture back down.
“Uhm” He laughed. “Let’s go up stairs.” I looked at him before he turned to the stairs behind him. It looked like he was blushing but I must have been imagined it. We went up stairs to a room with three bean bag chairs facing a flat screen on the wall and a black couch behind the chairs. Under the flat screen there was a play station and controllers. There was a hallway to the left and door on the wall were the tv was right by the stairs.”So this is the rec room and that’s my bedroom.” He said walking to the door. We went in. There was a king sized bed on the left side of the room and to right was a fire place with another flat screen hanging above it and next to that a entrance to a big bathroom with a walk in closet. I walked through looking around not touching anything. I ended up in his closet. He watched me at the entrance as I looked at his band t-shirts. “What are you doing?” He asked.
“Can I wear this one?” I asked holding up a Pierce The Veil guys tank top. I had a huge smile on my face hoping he’d say yes.
“Fine.” He said chuckling and walking out so I can change alone. I walked out with my arms in the shirt since the arm holes were rather large. I was looking around again and noticed he had a small bookshelf by the door. I got on my knees and looked at what was there and saw all of the Harry Potter books, a few magazines stacked together, other random books, and a couple of movies. “I only read Harry Potter. The others were gifts from fans that I never got around to reading.” Austin said from behind me making me jump. “Sorry” he said kneeling in front of the bookshelf with me.
“It’s allright.” was all I said. I looked at his movies. He had Harry Potter, Star Wars, Beauty and The Beast, a couple comedies and romantics.
“Want to watch a movie?” he asked smiling at me.
“Uh, sure.” I said standing up looking down at him. He didn’t even ask me what I wanted; he just reached for the DVD box with all the Star Wars. He got up and went to stick the first movie into the DVD player. I thought it was weird we were still in his room but I shrugged it off and sat in front of his bed with my legs crossed. He turned around and chuckled. “You know the bed is very comfortable.” He said. I blushed and he pulled me up from the floor. I walked to the left side of the bed and sat down kicking off my shoes before putting my feet up. He was already in the bed starting the movie with the remote. I nearly jumped when his arm was around my waist pulling me closer to him. I was tense for a moment but I ended up resting my head on his chest watching the movie. We were at least ten minutes in when I realized what this was. “Austin?” I whispered.
“Yeah?” He whispered back.
“This might be a stupid question but. Was this… Like a… Date?” I asked bitting my lip.
“Was It?” he asked teasing me.
“Aren’t we just friends?” I asked more serious.
“Are we?” he kept doing it.
“Austin!” I said in a normal voice sitting up looking at him.
“What?” He asked giggling and sitting up too.
“C’mon. Give me straight answers! I don’t know what this is. I keep thinking we’re just friends but you keep being really sweet and caring and I’m really bad at reading signals like really bad! I don’t even know how I got with Teo. He was like my first boyfriend and you’re really confusing me” I went on babbling until a set of lips were on mine shutting me up. Austin had his hand on the back of my head as he kissed me gently. When he pulled his head away and left his hand on my neck. I looked into his eyes completely breathless. “I really like you and I like being around you. That’s all I know and I want to know more about you.” He said. “And no, this is not our first date. I want to take you out somewhere nice for our first date.”
“Okay.” Was all I could manage to say. He laid back down and pulled me with him. I could feel my cheeks were burning. I was quiet the rest of night watching the movie.
I didn’t know what time it was when we finished the first movie but it was late. “Wanna pull an all nighter and watch all of them?” I asked grinning at him.
“Yes!” He said getting up to put the second one in.
Riley’s POV
I was in the kitchen watching Eric stuff a full piece of pizza in his mouth in one bite. Beau and Lights came over to hang out even though it was late. “So have you been thinking about the wedding?” Lights asked sitting with me at the table.
“It’s all I’ve been thinking about. Well mostly my dress. I don’t really care about every little detail.” I said. Lights laughed.
“So can I come with you when you go dress shopping?” She asked.
“Yes! Of course you can.” I said.
We all hung out watching Doctor Who. Once we got Doomsday I left to go to bed not wanting to watch the worst episode of DW. I got to my bed and gravity did the rest. I was so tired. I fell asleep instantly.
