I sat in front of the mirrior in the Aphrodite cabin as Piper did my hair and makeup. I was facing away from the mirror so i had no idea what she was up to. Annabeth was below deck getting the dresses we had picked out. I sat there not-so-patiently waiting to see what I looked like. My adhd was acting up and I started to jitter a little.

"Hold still" Piper said after she almost poked me in the eye.

"Sorry" I said as I mostly stoped moving, keeping it in my feet only.

Annabeth emerged with the three dresses holding them high above her head to keep them from dragging.

"Got them" Annabeth said as she placed the on the bed. "Im gonna go get dressed brb". Anna made her way toward the bathroom, carrying a beautiful grey dress with her.

After about five more minutes Piper was finally done with me. I squeezed my eyes shut as she turned the chair around. Once the chair had stoped moving I causiously peeled open my eyes and I gasped at my new apperence. My hair was curled in ringlets but on toward the bottom. My lips were covered in pink lipstick that wasnt too bright or too dark, diffrent shades of blue and silver covered my eye lids, and my eyelashes never looked this long! I turned to Piper and tackled her in a hug. I'm not the once who obsesses over beauty. I'm more of a beanie, snapack. t-shirts, and jeans/shorts girl, but every girl has that moment when they just really feel pretty and confident like what their wearing gives them that extra boost. Piper laughed and hugged me back.

"Glad you like it now go get dressed the dance is starting in 10 minutes." Piper said once I let go of her.

"Thanks Pipes see you at the dance" I said as I exsited and made my way to the Posiden cabin. Percy was inside infront of the mirror struggling with a tie.

"Need a little help there?" I asked smirking and watching him. Percy glared at me but nodded. I went over to him and began tying his tie. "There" I said once I was finished and had stepped back.

"Thanks" Percy said while spraying come cologne. 

"Anytime" I replied as I went into the bathroom. I slipped off my usual camp clothes and pulled on my dress. I pulled on and buckled my silver heels and walked out the bathroom. "Hey Percy mind zipping me up?" I asked. I had gotten I up half way I just needed help with the rest.

"Sure" Percy said as he walked over and finished pulling up my zipper. "Hey I'm walking Annabeth over you leaving now or later?" asked Percy.

"I will be there a little bit later go ahead" I replied smiling.

"Alright bye" Percy said as he left. I went over to my bed and pulled out my walkie talkie.

"Hey you ready?" I asked as I pressed the button on the side.

"Yeah I will pick you up in 5" Leo replied.

"Oh so gentlemen like" I said teasing him.

"Whatever" Leo said. I laughed as I put the walkie talkie back in its hiding spot and waited. Sure enough 5 minutes later Leo came knocking on my door and we walked to the dance together.

The dance itself was in a the training arena with a little modification to fit its current purpose. I looked up to see the disco ball spinning and smiled.

"I did a great job on the disco ball" I said proudly.

"You barley did half of it and I had to fix half of the half you did" Leo replied. I punched his shoulder playfully.

"Hey no need to hate" I said as I made my way too the punch bowl. I poured Leo and myself a cup and brought my cup to my lips. "Mhhh lemonade" I said. "Perfect".

I leaned against the table and watched the diffrent couples. Percabeth, Jiper, Frazel and a lot of others that didnt get ship names yet. The 2nd and 3rd place couples would get ribbions and the first place couple would get crowns and  be reconized tonight people the people that attened just write down the names of the two people or their ship name and drop it in the box at the end of the snack table. There was also voting for cutest possible couple basically two people you think should be together.

"Hey who are you voting for?" I asked Leo while taking another sip of lemonade.

"Hmm I don't know probably Jiper" Leo replied.

"Why am I not suprised I'm goiing for Percabeth all the way" I said.

"Of course wanna go vote now so we don't forget?" Leo asked.

"Yeah sure." I replied as I made my way to the end of the table I picked up a pen and a sheet of paper and quickly scribbled Percabeth on it. I folded the paper and dropped it into the box. "Percabeth is gonna win and you know it" I taunted.

"Alright guys its that ime of the night......time for the snowball dance! Guys on one side girls on the other basically what you do is we pick 5 guys and 5 girls at random and pair you up. You slow dance for 15 seconds and then you stop and find a new partner. You cant dance with the same person twice" The dj said. 

All of the campers attending the dance lined up as he said as Chiron started calling people.

"Percy, Jason, Marcus, James, Leo for the first boys"  Chiron announced as the 5 of them stepped out. "Layla, Hazel, Annabeth, Jane, and Tara for the girls".

I nervously stepped out of the croud and stood there waiting for the next instruction.

"Alright lets make this interesticing Hazel and Jason, Percy and Layla, Annabeth and Marcus, James and Jane, and Leo and Tara" Chiron said. I swore I chocked on air when Chiron said that. Leo and I dancing where almost the whole camp could see us. I stepped toward Leo and gave a small smile. I carefully wrapped my arms around Leo's neck as he put his hands on my waist. The music began to play and we swayed slowly together. I found myself blocking everything else out and just focusing on Leo watching him and taking in every detail. His brown, curly, mop of hair, his lopsided grin, his captivating brown eyes. I absorbed everything to the point where I knew Leo's face like the ack of my hand. Then the buzzer went off and we broke apart I gave Leo a slight nod and headed toward the boy line trying to find a guy to dance with. By the time the snowball was over I had danced with around 20 guys. It was time for the awards now and once I found Leo we stood next to eachother as Drew took the stage.

"Ok guys its time for what we have all been waiting for the couple awards the votes have been counted and in 3rd place for cutest couple is" Drew paused to open an envelope. "Frazel! come on down" . Frank and Hazel made their way onstage and took their big ribbon smiling as someone took their picture they then exsited off the stage.

"Ok now the second place couple is" Again Drew paused to open an envolope "Jiper! Come claim your prize" Jason and  Piper walked on stage, got their ribbon, and took their picture befor walking off stage.

"And now the 1st place couple is" Drew went to open the envolope. "Percabeth!!" Percy took Annaeths hand as they walked on stage. Crowns were placed on their heads and sashes that said "Love King" and "Love Queen" were drapped across their bodies. Their pictures were taken and they left the the stage. I walked over to Percy and Anna and smiled. "Congradulations  your magesties" I said as I bowed. Drew went on to the cutest possible couple and the 2nd and 3rd place people I didnt know.

"First place for cutest possible couple is" Drew ripped open an envelope. "Leo and Tara!!! Now known as Lara!!" I turned quickly and I swear my jaw was on the floor. I looked over at Leo who had a similar expression on his face.

"Well come on" Drew said as she looked at us expectantly. We made our way on stage as crown were placed on our heads and sashes that said "I ship us" were draped across our bodies. Of course our pictures were taken and we rejoined Percy and Anna.

"Lara I like the sound of that" Anna said as she eyed us.

"Hahaha" I said sarcastically. 

"Come on" Piper said while walking over to us. "You can't say you never thought about it before".

"Yeah" Percy chimed in. "You spend like all your time together"

"Well I guess we just get along well or whatever" I said trying to play it off normally. The rest of the dance was really fun there were slow and party songs so I got my fill of dancing. Leo walked me back to cabin 3 and we said goodnight. I got out of my dress and changed into my pjs and drifting into dream land.
