I turned to look at the mysterious girl. I had to blink a few times to see clearly but when I could I took a good head to toe look at her. Tallish, I guess. Slender face, calculating and judging eyes of pure gold. She was thin, but had her curves and wore a camp t-shirt and jeans but was barefoot. Around her neck was an odd looking ying yang necklace. I watched her quizically waiting for her to speak.
"I feel your grief, I want to help" she said as she removed her necklace.
"This is your chance to save Tara bedore she heads into judgement the sand will dissapear. All you have to do is whisper a name of someone and smash tge necklace"
"What will happen?" I croak my voice hoarse.
"Tara will live and the name you whispered that person will die a life for a life simply whisper 'Tara for whoever you choose to sacrafice. Better hurry though I estimate about 10 days" with that the girl was gone in a flash and I sat there holding the necklace pondering my options.
'I can't do this. I can't just kill someone, I mean I love Tara I really do but killing someone? I don't know if I could go that far.' I look back down at Tara and run a finger down her face. "You know I love you right?" I say aloud. "I'm going to get you back there has to be another way and I will find it I swear". I'm the one who has to bury her and I knew exactly where, but I won't do it just yet I mean I have 10 days. Time to do a little soul searching, killing monsters is one thing cuz they don't really die, killing people is another. Maybe I could find a really old person or something or a cancer patient. NO STOP IT LEO. You can't be rationizing murder its still mutder no matter what. Youre not that guy. Murder is never ok no matter how you spin it. I will find another way I will safe Tara the moral the right way. But what if you can't my concious tells me and I puch it aside. Tara will be saved but without taking another life. I git this I'm the man its all good. no its not, my concious spoke again and I push it aside hoping its not right
