Leo Pov

I thought for three days, three whole days I spent thinking about what I should do with about the whole Tara situation. I just couldn't get my mind around it. I have tried and tried and actually researched a lot to try and figure out if there was any other way to save her. There was nothing nothing at all. I spent an entire day with Annabeth looking and of course nothing. I only had 7 days left and time was running out. More than once had a thought crossed my mind about who I can sacrifice to get Tara back but I just couldn't do it. I couldn't take someone's life even if it was for her. I just don't know what to do anymore I'm so confused. I wish I would have been there for her for whatever reason she ran away. I should have been there maybe she was suffering with depression or something and  just had to get away. She didn't tell me I didn't see the signs either and that's mostly my fault. Lots of people came to when I about sacrafices the Clarrise, that one kid from Apollo, some hermes girl who never seem to be able to leave me alone, she was really creepy. Of course I couldn't dwell on these thoughts too long because this one side of me, the good, rational side pushes them back and reminds me that murder was wrong. I also wondered if killing a monster was acceptable I mean it'll just regenerate anyway but considering that, it means they won't actually die so that may not no doesn't count. I also thought about killing a plant actually did as crazy as it seems I went around, cut down a tree, got yelled at by nymphs, all for nothing! This is so frustrating.

Annabeth Pov.

"Guys I'm really starting to worry about Leo did he tell you guys about why he's acting so frantic lately" I say.

"I've noticed, but no he hasn't told me" Piper said from across the table.

"I caught him pacing and talking with himself long story short he got a chance to bring Tara back but the price is someone else has to die" I day calmly and watch everyone's reaction.

"He's not actually gonna do it is he?" Jason asks sounding shocked.

"Leo is a good kid and by the soud of it he was looking for another way. He kept saying he only has 7 days guess there's a limit on this offer" I reply shaking my head.

"Poor guy this must be terrible for him" Hazel says sadly.

"Percy isn't much better either he's been quite and reserved lately and has missed training. He just sits in his canin no one bothers hI'm at least not anymore. Stoll twins thought it would be funny to prank him and both ended up in the lake. I had to stop him before he drowned them both. It wasn't him his eyes were darker and I've never seen him so angry it was bad" I explain.

"We have to do something for both of them Leo is going to dtive himself insane and Percy is honna be bitter forever" Nico says and I honestlt hadn't noticed him til now.

"Preferably sooner they both have powers that are dangerous we gotta be careful though don't wanna set them off" Frank said absent mindedly tracing lines on the table.

"Lets put our heads together and get this done its for everyone's good" I say and oull out a journal.
