Prologue

Diamond Life:



I'm thinking of ways to change my emotion and my life but the way I'm living it ain't cutting it. I'm Diamond Akeelah Morgan. I'm a 17 year old stripper , stripping to support my little brother Damian Ahjari Morgan and myself. I live in a ratchet ass neighborhood with a drug addict/ alcoholic mother. She don't support me no mo'. Years back when I was 13 I got rapped by my step-father and his friend and my mother ain't do anything . Well basically she couldn't! He was constantly raping and beating on her. He tries to constantly do shit like that to me but I ain't taking it from him and I won't . After all that and this going on, I took time to look for my father but seems like I'm a little to late. He a big basketball star now , and my little brother and I are his only two kids. I don't exactly know his name but if I had to guess " David Morgan". He don't actually know he got us. So my mama say. My mother was just a whore he fucking and unexpectedly got pregnant twice so I tell her. Ever since Damian was four all he ever ask is for his father and I want to know him to but it looks kinda like we will never get to.
I still attend school on a regular basis but at nights is where I do my grinding. I make thousand every night. I don't fuck them niggas all I do is dance and maybe suck if that nigga paying good. I got a best friend and her name is Lauren Layla LorenZo . I call her triple because of the 3 L's in her name . She strip with me to. I met her in the 5th grade when some nigga try to glue her head to her desk and I stood up for her and ever since we got each other backs. We was born on the same day different months but she tell erry body we was born on the same day. We can never because She all wild and I'm a calm hood girl until I hit the pole then I'm a beast. Only she know the kind of life I'm living . HORRIBLE! So now I'm on a Mahd mission to find my dad and move out of this ratchet hood with my little brother . I've been taking care of him ever since he was born so I consider him my son. I treat him like he's mines but my mother boyfriend told me a stripper ain't gonna do shit for her kids but teach em' how to pole dance so that's another mission , prove that drunken , dead beat , dead dick , stupid , can't even keep a woman that I can do better than he will ever do and I won't have to teach em how to pole dance . My mother get all worked up for her dead beat man when the both just alike: no job but always got shit to smoke. By the way my mama name is Denice Swish and her dead beat man is James Montell. I hate 'em both.
Years now I be been getting these stupid dreams about my mama changing her life . I'd believe it when I see it. Sometimes I do wish for it to happen just for my little brother to get a better life than i did when I young but only god knows when it gonna happen. I can see that my mother doesn't love this man but she treats me and Damian this way just for him to stay just for someone to love her . Every time I look at her I always see her smiling at something but just not him. He's unattractive. Yes he is! Short ,Fat , Beer belly , grills , black nails, dirty afro, dark skin , no neck! Groos! Back to the topic I would think whatever she's smiling at , it's my father. When we argue I bring my dad name in it and the argument is all over . Something tells me that she's still in love with my dad. She got a ring on her hand for year and I would think is my dad gave it to her because she never takes it off. No lie but for a stinky she is very pretty if she cleans up herself but I can't do nothing so I won't try.
