7am. Hana woke up, realizing it's all bright outside. It's morning already? She hadn't even slept enough yet. She barely slept at all last night. She couldn't sleep and also Sasha kept rolling around in her sleep such that her hands and legs often clung to her. Hana was trying her best not to be annoyed at Sasha. She looked around. Bernice was starting to wake up while the rest of them were still asleep. She grabbed her toiletries and went to wash up.
Hana stepped outside. There was barely anyone about except for the few camp facilitators that were awake. And the teachers were nowhere to be seen. Hana wondered where they slept. But obviously they would have better accommodation than the students. It was so unfair. She thought.

After breakfast, Andrew brought them back to the camp and said, "Alright, you guys have heard during breakfast that we're going to have a campfire later tonight. So every class has to prepare a performance and the winner will get a huge prize. Any ideas?"
Hana groaned silently. A performance? She didn't like performing on stage or even going up on stage. It wasn't that she had stage fright, it's just that she hated being the center of attention of everyone. Hana hoped that the performance didn't really involve a lot of people. Let her be one of those cheering or something. As long as she didn't have it stand in front of people.
There was silence for a while. Then Mr Yee said, " Come on, guys. Let's be proactive and give any ideas that you have."
There was still silence before Ryan said, "Maybe we could do a skit? Any ideas for the skit?"
"How about we show our daily school life and make it really funny? Everyone will be able to relate to that," Steph said.
"That's a good idea, Steph," Andrew said. "Any other ideas?"
Silence once again.
"No one?" Andrew asked. "Then I'm going to take it that everyone agrees to do a skit. Last chance to say something if you have an idea."
Everyone looked around at each other, saying nothing.
"Well, then we'll be doing a skit." Andrew confirmed, glancing at his watch. "I give all of you all the way till lunch to plan and practice. Then we'll do a last practice before the campfire. Come on, get moving!"
It took a long while for everyone to plan everything. And now, everyone was starting to practice. Hana wasn't assigned any role, thank goodness, she just had to be one of the students in class, like everyone who had nothing to do. That was easy. All she needed to do was to just sit there and, hopefully, do nothing. Perfect.

3 hours before the campfire. Hana was back at base camp again, preparing to shower. This time, they weren't the first class to shower. And by the time Hana went to the toilet, there was already a long queue. Like really long. Great. How long would she have to wait for?
The queue was getting longer by the minute, with more classes coming to shower too. In the end, the camp facilitators brought some of them over to another place to shower. There was still a queue but not as long. But still, Hana had to wait really long for her turn and the camp facilitators were urging everyone to hurry up.
It was finally her turn to shower. Hana turned on the tap and cold water came splashing down on her. She jumped back in surprise and shivered. She wasn't used to having cold water for shower. She always had hot water. And now, she had to make do with the cold water. Hana showered quickly, eager to get out from the cold water. By the time she came out, there was barely anyone left waiting to shower. Hana quickly followed Lyn's directions and went down quickly back to the camp. But she couldn't walk very faster because her sandals were slippery. To make it worse, the camp facilitator at the bottom was shouting at her to hurry up. She was trying, ok? What was she going to do about her slippery shoes? It's not like it was her fault. Can't the person just shut up? It's seriously annoying, Hana thought.

7pm. Everyone was gathered at a field in some restricted area. They had walked a long way to get here. They were sitting on mats laid out on the ground but there didn't seem to be enough space. Hana was sitting at the edge of the mat. She didn't want to sit on the grass. Who knows what would be there?
"Hey guys, " Steph, who was in front of Hana, said. "Pass down the message. Later, when they introduce the teachers, let's point towards them."
"Why don't we shine our torches at them?" Hana suggested. "It'll be dark soon. They won't be able to see them clearly."
Hana instantly regretted saying that. She didn't know what came over her. She must have been mad. As if they would take her idea seriously.
And to her surprise, Steph took up her suggestion and they ended up doing just what she said.
Now, it was time to start the camp performance. Hana hoped they wouldn't called first just because of their class number. Please, not us. Hana prayed silently. Anyone but us. Hana really didnt want to do it first even though she didn't need to do anything. She just hated performing.
"Ok, it's time for the class performances," The MC said. "First up, we'll have... "

Back with another chapter! So how did u guys find this chapter? Was it a bit lame? Because, honestly, I felt the skit part was kinda lame though. Coz I forgot what my class did for the campfire and I just made it up. Lol. By the way, in case you're wondering how on earth could there a campfire in the zoo, from what I can remember, I think we really had a campfire. A small one though.
