Part 27

Robert's POV

We'd just come back from the funeral. Liv had ran out, and I'd calmed her down. Hopefully this could be where she stops hating me, and we can be friends. "I'm gagging for one, cheers Marlon" Aaron said, and I added, "I'll have one too, and a fizzy orange juice, and er, prawn cocktail crisps". Liv walked off, and came back after a few minutes. "You ok?" I asked her, and she just nodded, she was too quiet. What's up with her? I thought. She walked back over to Aaron, who was laughing about something with his mum, whilst I went to the loo.

Aaron's POV

"Robert Sugden?" A policeman asked, walking in the pub with another officer. "I'm Robert Sugden, can I help?" Robert asked, walking over. "We're arresting you, on the contemporary of attempt to pervert the course of justice" the man said, and they held him by his arms. "What?" Robert yelled, trying to fight them off. I went to grab one of the police officers, but my mum stopped me. "Leave it" she said, grabbing my arm. Robert was taken away, and I looked at my mum, helpless. I stormed to the back room, Liv following me. She just sat on the couch, speechless, whilst I rang Robert. "Ugh, no answer, they must be charging him" I said, chucking my phone on the table. "Liv, I can't help but think you've got something to do with this" I suggested, and she just got up and went to walk upstairs. "Liv? Liv!" I shouted, following her. She stopped on the stairs, and looked at me. "I-I'm sorry, I thought he hated me, I didn't know hd was going to be nice to me! I swear I t-tried to call it off with Ryan but he didn't answer and now you hate me!" She confessed, running down the stairs and hugging me. "Liv I could never hate you" I simply said, hugging her back. I let go, and called Robert all night, not sleeping. I couldn't!

Robert's POV

I walked through to the pub, I knew Aaron wouldn't have gone home and slept. He was stood up, trying the police station again. "They wouldn't stop asking questions" I said, sitting down on the couch. He instantly came and sat down next to me. "Just kept trying mind tricks" I told him, and he asked "What are you hiding?". "That obvious? They're doing a trial or something next week" I told him. "Oh god, Robert" Aaron said, touching my arm. "Why would anyone want to do this, tell Ryan to do that?...unless they have the money to, and they think I hate them...Oh wait until I see Liv!" I yelled, walking to the stairs. "She didn't mean to!" Aaron said, which stopped me. "You knew?" I asked, turning round. "I only just found out!" he defended himself. "But you knew! So, you chose her over me, okay" I shouted, before walking out. "Robert..." I heard Aaron call out after me.

Aaron's POV

Of course I haven't chosen out of either of them!! "Robert!" I yelled, after we got out of the pub. "Robert where are you going?" I asked. "To Vic's, because she's not at work today and I need to know someone's got my back" he shouted, still walking. "I've got your back!" I shouted back. Robert stopped, and turned to look at me. "Really? Because I'm pretty sure you've got your sister's, who's got me arrested for something I did for you! All she ever does is try to get in between us, and its finally worked for her so why don't you go back to her?" He said, and then continued to walk to Vic's. "I was going to tell you!" I yelled. "When, Aaron? When were you going to tell me? When I was already in jail? When I got out? When I was asleep so I wouldn't hear?" I replied, then scoffed. "Alright, fine. What if Vic got me arrested for something I did to try and help you? Would you tell me it was her?" I asked, and thought I'd won. "I would, because I LOVE you, Aaron!" He snapped back. "I love you too!" I told him.

Robert's POV

I saw Liv with a bag packed, walking out of the pub. "Aaron, I know you do. J-just go to Vic's, I'll catch you up in a bit I promise" I said, panicking. "What, why? What's wrong?" He asked, worried. "Aaron please just do it and I'll tell you why in a bit!" I exclaimed, and he looked at me, confused. "Alright! And Robert, I really am sorry" he apologised. "I forgive you, Aaron. Erm, can I borrow your car?" I asked, panicking more. "Uh, yeah sure, here" he said, chucking them to me. "Thank you!" I nearly yelled, before quickly kissing him and running to his car. I got in, and drove out of Emmerdale. I drove along the road to Hotten, and saw Liv. I drove up by her and stopped the car, opening the passenger door. "Get in!" I yelled, and Liv looked at me, she'd obviously been crying. "Why don't you hate me?" She asked, hiccupping from crying so much. "I'm never going to hate you, unless you kill Aaron or Vic, don't you ever do that! Just get in, before I get out and pick you up and put you in the boot, Liv" I exclaimed, and she did, chucking her bag in the backseat. "Where were you going? I've just had to tell Aaron to go to Vic's before he knew you'd left!" I said, driving to Hotten to get something to eat, she was obviously shook up. "I-I heard you and Aaron arguing, y-you were right, so I was just going to Dublin" she explained. "Oh, Liv, I never meant that! I'm annoyed you got me arrested, but I'm not mad anymore. And I definitely don't hate you! I understand why Aaron wouldn't tell me, just don't get in a mood and run off when you do something wrong" I said gently, and that seemed to calm her down. "Where are we going?" She asked. "Hotten, we're going to get something to eat, you look really shaken up" I pointed out, and she giggled a bit. "Oh, thanks!" She replied sarcastically, making me giggle too. We went and got some food, and I texted Aaron saying "I'll be at Vic's soon xx". We drove back afterwards, and I parked up the car. "Just don't pull any more stunts on me" I said, before getting out. Liv got out too, and got her bag before walking in the pub, the back way. I locked Aaron's car, and practically ran up the road to Vic's, and opened the door. "Hi, Rob" Vic said, walking up to me. "He's really sorry, you know" she whispered, and I nodded. I went and sat down next to Aaron on Vic's sofa, and gave him his car keys. "Here you go" I said, and he smiled, very faintly.

Aaron's POV

"I'm sorry, I really am" I apologized, looking up at Robert. "No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have flipped out like that, I get why you didn't tell me" he said, and I hugged him, gently grabbed his face with my hands, he did the same, and kissed him. We heard a camera and saw a flash, and Robert broke off the kiss and said "Seriously?!", making her laugh. "What? You'll thank me later, when you've got all these memories to look at" Vic said, and me and Robert smiled. "I am sorry though, for overreacting" Robert said, and I replied "I deserved it". He held my hand and told me "You didn't, at all. Seriously, I forgive you, and if you say you deserved it one more time, I'm going to tickle you until you cry", with a giggle. I bit my lip, and said "I deserved it" before jumping up like the sofa was lava, and running around Vic's house, Robert chasing me. Vic went to make a cup of tea, and I ran back down stairs and dived on the couch. I had just enough time to roll off of the couch and get up before Robert ran back downstairs. "Bye Vic!! I'll beat you there Robert!" I yelled, laughing as I ran out the door. "Bye Vic!" I heard him yell, and Vic yelled back "Bye lads!" Before Robert closed the door. He ran after me, and I got to the house before him with just enough time to unlock the front door and run in. He closed it straight behind me, and I ran and jumped on the couch. I could hear Robert locking the door as I turned so I was lay on my back, and he pounced on me, gently pinning me down by holding my wrists before I could roll off the couch. "So you got me" I said, and Robert nodded, before strongly kissing me. He leant back, and I asked him "Forgiven?". "Forgiven" he replied, before kissing me again, passionately. He took off his jacket, and we stood up. I quickly shut the curtains, before taking off Roberts shirt. He took off my shirt in between kisses, and we both removed our jeans, and boxers.
