Part 2

Aaron's POV

I woke up on a sofa, and I had no idea where I was. I looked around, and slowly remembered last night's events, a grin plastered on my face.

We'd both said that we love each other, and I couldn't stop smiling to myself. Then I saw the cans. No wonder I had a headache. Imagine how Robert felt? He probably wouldn't wake up until later. I looked at my phone. Too bright! I squinted until I saw 13:47. It was Sunday too, which meant I wouldn't have to work today. I was about to go to sleep again but my eye caught a note, put on the coffee table in front of me. It said: "Aaron, I was gonna wake you up, but then I saw all the cans and your heads probably banging. Roberts even worse I heard him muttering "ughhhhh too much drunk" as I went past his door so you might wanna check if he's dead lol. Bet you two had waaaaaay too much to drink. Nice one lol. Don't bother coming to the scrapyard, you're not gonna be able to work like that. Text us later yeah? Adam :p" I laughed and shook my head, and then groaned because my head hurt. I shoved the note in my pocket and went up the stairs, to check if Robert's"dead".

Robert's POV

I couldn't get back to sleep. My head was absolutely banging and I remembered why. Then the headache got slightly better as I remembered Aaron had said he loved me, after I'd told him. I was so drunk, what if he doesn't remember? What if he didn't mean it? What if he thinks I didn't mean it?! My own questions hurt my head and made the headache worse than it was originally. I groaned as my head hurt more, and then I heard a quiet knock at the door. I covered myself with the duvet even though I was still in my boxers, and said "come in" in a hardly audible mutter. Surprisingly, the person heard and I thought it'd be Adam or Vic telling me to get up because of something. But I saw Aarons face and my headache started to clear a bit. "What are you doing here?" I asked, rubbing my eyes. "I fell asleep on the sofa, I was too drunk to walk home" he replied, a faint smile on his face. I gave one back and said "You know I would have slept on the couch and you could have slept up here". Aaron smiled a bit more and said "I'm not kicking you out of your bed, and you were already drunk when I got here so god knows how you feel". "My head is killing me, it feels like someone's been hitting it with a hammer" I said, before sitting up. "Oh so you actually managed to get changed then" Aaron said, laughing a bit. "I was drunk, not dead" I replied, laughing too. Aaron started giggling. "What's so funny?" I asked a little more seriously, looking round. "Just Adam, he left me a note and he reckons you died, he could hear you going 'ughhhhhhh' when he went past" Aaron said, still giggling. "Well you can't exactly get rid of me that fast" I said, laughing again. We both started laughing and Aaron said "Ay I'll have to put up with you then, won't I?". He walked over, and got me up. "Right then, get changed and I'll make us a cuppa" said Aaron, when he made sure I was standing up right. He then went downstairs and I could hear him moving about as I got dressed.

Aaron's POV

I wish I could have just hugged him there and then, but he hadn't mentioned anything about last night, so I presumed that he'd forgotten and was just drunk. I'll ask him later. I was finishing making teas when I heard Robert clambering down the stairs. I smiled to myself, I couldn't help it. I brought over the teas and Robert was sat on the couch, rubbing his eyes. His hair was messy and he just looked so cute. I started smiling again, when I heard Robert say "What are you smiling at?". I smiled more because his confused face and messy hair was adorable together, which I'd never admit. "You. Your hairs dead messy" I replied, not telling him how good it looked. "Well yours is still gelled back, you were tired weren't you?" He said. "Thats because I didn't move. That couch is comfy!" I replied. It was really comfortable, and I'd just fell asleep straight away. Robert smiled. "What are YOU smiling ast?" I asked, curious. "Just last night" he replied. So he DID remember! I started smiling too.

Robert's POV

Aaron smiled back at me, and he just looked so cute. Our eyes locked, and he asked me "So you remember last night?". "Of course I do" I replied. Aaron couldn't hide his happiness, his eyes were sparkling blue. I leant in, and kissed him. He kissed me back, more strongly, and we were just kissing until the door opened and we both pulled back and just sipped our teas. It was Adam, coming to see if either of us were awake. "Orite lads?" Adam asked, walking through. Aaron nodded, gulping his tea. "You were spark-out before, I'm surprised you're awake, and you, Robert!" Adam said, whilst laughing. Aaron joined in, and I said "ha ha, I'm not dead, am I?". Adam and Aaron started laughing more, whilst Robert gave in and started laughing too. "I've gotta go back to the scrapyard, I'll talk in a bit, bye" said Adam, leaving and shutting the door. We just looked at each other and giggled like a pair or schoolgirls. "Imagine what Adam would have said if we hadn't of heard him!" Aaron said. "He couldn't have done much, really. Its not like we're in the wrong" I replied. He nodded and smiled at me, and I got lost in his eyes. I leaned in, and so did Aaron, and we were kissing again, and it was passionate and loving, we didn't have to worry if someone saw us, not anymore. Aaron had kept me at a friendship, nothing more, but even though I'd wanted us to be more, it was worth the wait.

Aarons POV

Robert didn't care who saw us together! I was dancing in my mind, this kiss was like a dream come true. All I could think about was the fact that we could be together, in public and without a care in the world. Robert would never have been like this before, he obviously loves me like I love him. I pulled away, and said "I haven't eaten in ages". "Me either, we should probably go and get something, from the pub?" Robert replied. "Yeah, my mums going to be wondering where I am, I'm surprised she's not called" I said. Wait. I haven't checked my phone since I got here! I grabbed my phone from the coffee table and turned it on. 4 text messages, and 2 missed calls. "Yeah we need to go there before she sends me any more texts!" I said, showing Robert the screen. "Well, at least you know she cares" Robert said jokingly. I laughed, and pointed out that she cares a little too much. We went out of the house, and squinted because we were still a little hungover. As we were walking down the street, I said "What am I going to say to her?". Robert replied sarcastically "You could always tell her you joined a circus". We both started laughing. "I could just tell her, couldn't I? Imagine her face though" I said, starting to laugh. Robert looked at me, trying to be serious but he started laughing too.As we walked into the pub together, my mum looked straight over.

Robert's POV

Chas looked at us both, and then looked at me, then gave a stern look to Aaron. "Where have you BEEN?!" Chas asked, pretty loudly. Me and Aaron looked at each other, trying our best not to laugh at Aarons earlier comment. We both failed. "It isn't funny! Your phone was turned off all night...you were with him weren't you?" Chas asked, looking at me. "Yes mum, I was. And we both got drunk and I slept on his couch because I didn't want to deal with you, and to be honest I don't now, mum". Chas looked at us both, not impressed. "Right. Through the back. Now. Both of you" she said. Me and Aaron looked at each other, rolled our eyes and then started to giggle. " Come on!" Chas said, well, almost yelled. "Alright!" Me and Aaron said in unison. We started to laugh even more as we walked through.
