okay, hey guys, back with another chapter. This chapter is all about Erik and Kassidy, and their past, so more or less like a filler chapter.

Recap: i held out my arm, waiting for him to take blood, this isn't new, they do this regularly at the place i was held at for all the years I've been there. Hank took a few samples of my blood actually and it left me slightly, but barely woozy. Then the scent hits me, it's oaky, smells like cigars, but also burban and rum. i hear the door handle twist open and the one man I never thought I'd see again.
"Erik?" i whimpered.

Kassidy's POV
i stare blankly at the white wall, listening quietly to the soft foot steps. i glance at Victor and Dr. Honz, they both looked irritated.
"do we really need to leave the kid here?" Victor asked.
"sadly, yes, you and i need to meet some very important people, trust me, Shaw is a very trustworthy man, he was the one who has brought our darling pet to us" Dr. Honz said.
"i guess" Victor said sighing.
i shook my head at his pouting and blink at their stupid conversation, i don't see why i can't go with them, it's not fair. the door opens and i look up and see two people walk in, a creepy looking guy, and a guy maybe six to ten years older than me.
"ah, good morning, Lisa, Victor" the man, I'm assuming, Shaw said.
"Ah, my darling Shaw, how good to see you, and who is this delicious looking cupcake?" Dr. Honz asked, staring at the other guy.
"ah, my star, pupil, Erik" Shaw said.
Shaw stares at me and walks to me, and i straighten up, looking straight ahead. he circled around me, he's not the first person to do this, they were always curious about it.
"it's been awhile, experiment 08011997...or do you go by Kassidy now?" Shaw asked.
i glance at Dr. Honz, seeing if i should answer him and she nodded her head.
"yes, sir, Kassidy is a name i was given" i said calmly.
"you were given? now Lisa, that isn't fair, that was your birthday name, shame on you" Shaw said shaking his head.
"oh hush, I'm more of her mother" Dr. Honz said.
i wanted to scoff, but kept my composure. the one guy, Erik was studying me, his cold blue eyes pierced mine and i glare at him and look away.
"she looks outstanding, i love how she's turned out, so much like a soldier, and her abilities?" Shaw asked.
"they're remarkable...she can turn invisible, she's unbelievable in martial arts, she's acquired many skills that will help in the future, i can promise that" Dr. Honz said.
"yes, yes, I've heard of those, but what I'm most interested is her mental abilities" Shaw said.
"i don't kiss and tell, that's a talk for tonight's dinner" Dr. Honz said.
"alright, fine, Erik, show our dear Kassidy to her holding room" Shaw said.
"yes sir" Erik said.
he didn't wait for me, so i quickly walk to catch up to him. he didn't say anything to me, nothing at all. i had heard his accent, German...so I'm assuming he's either a German....or by the tattoo i spot on his wrist, a Jew.
he stops outside a door and i stare blankly at it. it's metal and it looks old, considering the metal the outlines it, so it won't be too hard to knock it down or at least dent it.
"do not try to knock it down, it's hopeless" Erik said.
i glance at him and shrug my shoulders, so he knew what i was thinking...mind reader? i doubt it, he's more muscle, so they work on his body strength more, so more of a physical mutation than a mental.
"what mutation do you posses?" i asked .
He raised an eyebrow at me and the nods his head, one of the screws came towards my face and i stare at it, tilting my head.
"levitating metal? interesting" i said.
"what's so interesting about it?" Erik asked.
"you could escape" i said shrugging.
"escape?" Erik asked, as if i grew another head.
"yes, think about it, you're head poncho here, you're probably the last person who'd he'd expect to escape" i said shrugging.
"it's a thought" Erik said nodding.
he opens my door and i stare at it, the room is bare and cold looking. i bit my bottom lip, did i really have to be in that room?
"don't worry, it's only temporary" Erik said.
i walk in and sit on the bed. Erik turned on one of the lights and i blink at him.
"how old are you?" Erik asked.
"nine" i said.
"you look older..." Erik said.
"how old are you?" i asked.
"it doesn't matter" Erik said.
"if i guess right...would you come back and talk to me?" i asked.
i don't know why i asked that...but he seemed nice...or at least an ally i can use for later on in the future. i stare at him the eyes, i put on my sweetest eyes and he searched them, a soft blush slowly setting in.
"uh....sure" Erik mumbled.
"you're young...you just started growing facial hair...you have haunted eyes, but they could be worse...but you're going to probably expect worse with the coming years...if i had to guess, seventeen" i said.
Erik stares at me in the eyes, but slowly nods his head, then he walks out of the room, shutting the door and leaving me all alone. i stare at the door and shook my head at the thought.
