The Interview that Changed Everything (Josh Gray/HomeTown)

Chapter 3

"Hey guys, as you all have probably seen on Twitter - I have had something big happening in this video. Last week after I finished filming my video, I got a very important phone call" I say to the recording camera "Louis Walsh got in touch with me to see if I would do an interview with his upcoming boyband HomeTown and I couldn't turn it down. So I'd like to welcome the HomeTown boys" I say as the boys run into the shot, while they shout and cheer before finally sitting down, I look at the cards with the questions Louis has prepared. All of them about, music, upcoming videos, covers, social medias and.. Girls.. 

They answer the questions with no problems at all and they even announce that they have girlfriends, they told us their names too. Elsie (Ryan), Melody (Dean), Skyler (Brendan), Courtney (Josh), Michaela (Cian) and Ella (Dayl), I'm happy for them, they seem really happy. However, Ryan and Elsie have been together for 3 years but he couldn't announce it straight away due to the hate she may get - so he was looking out for her really, not himself. I finish the video before turning off the camera and smiling at the boys

"Done!" I smile 

"You'd be good friends with the girls you know.. You have the same personality" Dean smiles.

"I guess I'll have to meet them then" I say and the boys nod

"We're going to lunch with them later. You can come if you want to?" Cian says 

"If none of you mind" I smile

"We don't" Dayl smiles. We laugh and joke around for about half an hour before Ryan's phone goes off

"It's Els, they're at Nando's" he says standing up and slipping on his red converse, everyone else does the same with their shoes before we walk out of my apartment and start the journey to Nando's. 

We arrive after the 5 minute walk and walk into the restaurant before finding the 6 girls, the boys notice them sat in the corner of the room with menus in their hands. We walk over, me dragging behind them as they stand at the table

"We're here" Dean says as he slides into the booth, the others doing the same as I just stand there awkwardly.

"Is this Caitlyn?" A pretty girl with beach blonde hair says 

"Yeah, Caitlyn. Meet Elsie, Michaela, Courtney, Melody, Ella and Skyler" Josh says introducing me to everyone as I wave nervously

"You can sit down you know" Dayl laughs as I nod before slipping in next to him.

We all sit and look at the menu for a couple of minutes before a waitress walks over to take our order, we tell her what we would like before she walks away and returns a couple of minutes later with our drinks.

"So Caitlyn.. You're 1-" Melody says but gets interrupted mid-sentence

"OH MY GOD IT'S CAITLYN WATSON AND HOMETOWN!" I hear a scream outside the window, I look up to see a group of around about 10 girls and another bunch now running up to the door and window. 

"Can you hold that thought?" I ask her and she nods, I stand up before exiting the restaurant and walking up to the large group of people 

"Hey guys!" I say as they notice me walking up to them and then run over before swarming me

"Can I have a photo?" Is one of the many things being shouted to me as I take photos with a bunch of them 

"It was lovely to meet you all but I need to get going" I say as they all wave as I walk back into Nando's and to the table.  

"Now I realise why your fans love you so much" Cian says "You're so kind to them" at that point the food arrives and I enjoy the rest of the afternoon, getting to know both the boys and the girls more and becoming great friends with them too.
