The Interview that Changed Everything (Josh Gray/HomeTown)

Chapter 15

A couple of hours later, Josh arrives at my house so that we can go on our date - we had gotten up this morning and announced to everyone that we were actually going on a date together and they were actually so happy for us. Josh's excitement was flowing out of him and I think mine was too - I have wanted this day for so long and it's finally here! Josh's hand interlocks with mine as he leads me down a very familiar road - I see lanterns hanging from trees as a smile grows on my face. We get closer and I see a table set up - he turns to look at me and I smile to him

"You remembered?" I ask and he nods as he pulls me into the park and towards the table.

He pulls my chair out for me as I sit down and he pushes me in before taking the seat opposite me, my hand over the table as he takes it in his as we sit there for a couple of minutes before I see a man coming with a tray in his hands. He places a plate infront of each of us before removing the lid and revealing the chicken, salad and potatoes - aka, my favourite meal. We eat it while making small talk before we both finish and the man comes and takes the plates away - he then comes back with a giant milkshake with 2 straws

"You're so cheesy" I laugh as it's set down infront of us.

We drink it before Josh stands up and walks behind a tree - I sit there thinking for a couple of minutes before Josh comes back with a guitar in his hands

"Jo-" I start before he cuts me off. He drags a chair up right in front of me and sits down with the guitar

"I'm sorry I'm not too good" he says as he starts playing the chords to 'Roses' and then he starts to sing

"My heart is under attack

 I'm falling trough the cracks

I am frozen, I'm frozen 

It's been so long 

Since I felt strong 

I've cried an ocean

Once he finishes the song, I'm almost in tears - him hitting Bren's high note and just his voice makes my heart skip a beat every time I hear it. I look him in the eyes once he's done before standing up and launching myself onto him before kissing him.

"Caitlyn.. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks into the kiss, I pull away - the seriousness in his face, I smile and then kiss him again

"Yes" I mumble into the kiss.

The next morning, we got home late last night and everyone was already in bed - we was going to tell them that we are now officially girlfriend and boyfriend but we couldn't. I stay lying in Josh's arms as he sleeps - his chest rising and falling as he takes each breath

"Are you still asleep?" I hear from the doorway

"I'm not but Josh is" I say rubbing my eyes before attempting to get out of his arms but being pulled back straight away 

"I am awake. I was just enjoying your presence.. What's up Cian?" He asks sitting up, pulling me into his side and kissing my cheek.

"Are you guys coming bowling with me, Dean, Mickey and Mel?" He asks as I look up at Josh and shake my head - wanting to have a lazy day in with my boyfriend.

"We're alright Lad" he says as Cian walks further into the room and smiles as he see's us all cuddled together

"Are you a couple now?" He asks and I look up to Josh as we both nod and Cian smiles before running out of the room 

"THEY'RE A  COUPLE" He shouts through the house before we hear a bunch of cheers and everyone piles up the stairs and into the room.

THEY'RE FINALLY A COUPLE! However, will it be a perfect relationship or will it have some bumps along the way? I guess you will just have to read on and see what happens along the way. Anyway, please vote, comment and share! It would mean a lot.

Anyway, you're probably wondering why I haven't updated since Thursday. Well, on Friday I wanted a break - which is going to be a new tradition for me. I WILL NOT BE UPDATING ON FRIDAYS AND SOMETIMES SUNDAYS! However.. The reason I didn't update yesterday was kind of upsetting for me. As some of you may have seen on Twitter - Christina Grimmie (aka one of my inspirations) was shot the other night whilst she was meeting some fans in Orlando. When I heard the news I was heart broken - I have watched Christina for 4 years and the news broke my heart. R.I.P Christina, you will always be loved. By me and many more people. Heaven gained a beautiful and talented angel
