Chapter 18

Cian's P.O.V

Once we finish bowling, me and Mickey headed back to her apartment and Dean and Mel both went out on a date while we decided to have some time to ourselves. We sit on the sofa, Mickey wrapped in my arms as we have a movie on in the background. I look into Michaela's brown eyes before kissing her softly - the kiss gets more heated before I untangle my arms from around her body and roll over so that I'm hovering over her. The make out session carries on for 15 minutes before we both finally pull away and try and catch our breaths.

"I love you" I mumble looking into her eyes

"I love you too" she says before kissing me again - this time slow and steady before we pull away and get back to watching the movie together. I hear both of our phones beeping signally we both have a message before we both look at our phones 

"Hey guys! So this is a random time I know but due to these past 3 years being the best 3 years if my life - I've made a big decision which is going to change a lot of things in the future. Today I went into town and bought a ring for Elsie and if you're anything like Josh and don't know what that means - I am going to propose to her. However! I need all of your help - I want to take Els on a week away to Spain, but you will all need to be there for what I have planned! I will talk to you all about it when Bren, Sky, Dayl and Ella are back from visiting their hometowns. See you all soon!" I read out from my phone.

"He's finally going to propose!" Mickey says with a smile on her face

"I wonder why he wants us all to be in Spain though?" I ask

"We'll just have to wait and see" she says before placing her phone back down on the table. 

"I can't believe it" I say as we cuddle back up on the sofa

"Well believe it Cian. They're going to get married and live a happy life together" she smiles before placing her head on my chest.

I hear a knock on the front door and sigh 

"Who is it?" Mickey shouts

"Caitlyn and Josh" I hear Cait shout before we both get up as Mickey goes to open the door

"Did you get the message?" Josh asks 

"The one about Ryan?" I ask as they shake their heads before Mickey grabs our phone.

"Dayl messaged us? How come?" Mickey asks as they look at the floor

"Read it" Cait says as we all go and sit on the sofa. 

The message read

Hey guys.. So our trip has been cut short. Ella went to visit her parents graves only to see that they had been destroyed. She's distraught. So we are going to stay here tonight and come home tomorrow morning. She won't be herself at all but we're both so happy for Ryan and how he has chosen to live his life with the girl he loves. See you tomorrow x

I feel the tears brimming my eyes as I look up at Mickey to see her in tears

"How could someone do that?" She says as I pull her into me - I just shrug before we all just sit there in silence.
