Chapter 9

Josh's P.O.V

I walk alongside Courtney, hand in hand but our grip loose - I stop in my tracks and she turns to look at me

"Why'd you stop?" She asks

"I need to tell you something" I say

"What?" She asks blankly.

"I did something last night" I say my heart pounding in my chest knowing that this is going to break her

"Josh! Spit it out!" She says getting in patient 

"I kissed Caitlyn!" I blurt out as she looks at me.

"You did what?!" She shouts making the people around us look our way

"I'm so sorry" I say

"We're going back to Elsie and Ryan's!" She says heading back. We get back and I see Caitlyn's car parked outside "This bitch had the nerve to come back?" she says before walking into the house. I quickly follow her before she does something stupid. We walk into the living room and there she is 

"You slut!" Courtney says 

"Courtney!" Sky says 

"She fucking kissed Josh! You know - MY boyfriend" she shouts 

"Actually I kissed her" I say.

Caitlyn's P.O.V

Is this bitch kidding me? Coming in and calling me a slut - hell no! 

"Hold up!" I say as everyone looks at me as I stand up and face Courtney "I'm a what?!" 

"Slut" she says again "Would you like me to spell it out for you?" 

"I'm good but perhaps you should tell Josh what happened last night" I say coldly as her face drops.

"What's she talking about?" Josh asks with confusion in her voice

"Your girlfriend here isn't as innocent as she looks" I say blankly, sitting back down next to Leer.

"Can someone explain?" Josh asks as we all look at one another

"Are you not going to explain yourself? Or do you want me to explain it for you?" I question her as she glares at me

"I don't know what you're talking about" she says through gritted teeth

"Let me refresh your memory... Let's just say you're mad at a kiss.. What about if Josh found out about that make out session with one of his best friends?" I say.

"You bitch! You have no idea what you're talking about" she says

"Is it true?" Josh asks as Courtney turns to look at him

"Of course not" she says the guilt in her voice

"I want the truth" Josh says.

Courtney looks up into Josh's eyes and nods

"I'm so sorry Josh" she says the sadness in her voice 

"Who?" He says bluntly 

"What?" She asks

"Who was it?!" He shouts

"Jake.." She says as Josh's face changes.

"I'm done!" He says "I am officially breaking up with you" and with that he walks out of the room, his emotions gone from his face 

"This is all your fault" Courtney cries, the tears streaming down her face as she runs out of the room after him.

"Well, I wasn't expecting you to take being called a slut and a bitch so well" Leer says

"I'm not how I used to be Lyric, but I was going to snap" I say "I'm sorry for this though guys.. I know she's a friend" 

"It was either that or she was going to do something and after you saying that you're not like you used to be. I'm glad you said something" Sky says.

"What do you mean by 'I'm not how I used to be?'" Mel asks 

"I knew I would need to explain myself.. In high school I had some pretty gory fights because I used to get bullied - I used to get called names, mostly a slut which is why Leer said she wasn't expecting me to take it so well" I say

"Get your things and go!" Josh shouts upstairs.

5 minutes later Courtney comes down stairs with a bag in her hand and mascara streaked down her face

"I'll see some of you when ever.. I'm going back to Belfast tonight" she says once she's come into the living room

"Alright" Elsie says as everyone gets up and hugs her 

"See you later" she says to everyone but me

"See you" they all say back before she heads out. Josh comes downstairs 20 minutes after she leaves and comes into the living room, his eyes red from crying and his knuckles red from punching the walls upstairs.

I get my phone out and sigh before going onto Twitter to see everybody asking where to video is

I'm so sorry everybody but the video isn't going to be up tonight, it will be up on Friday. I promise!

I tweet out and everyone's phone goes off 

"We all have your notifications on" Dayl says

"I have yours on too" I laugh. 

"Why are you not posting the video?" Josh asks lifting his head from his phone

"I didn't know if you would want me too" I say as he smiles at me

"I'm glad you didn't" he says.

"Caitlyn I need to go back to my house today.. My mums dropping Noah off and I'm babysitting. I forgot" Lyric says 

"I'll take you" I say standing up "3 day sleepover cut short" 

"We'll all have a 3 day sleep over?" Elsie says for everyone not giving them a choice

"You can all come over if you want too?" I ask before I get bombarded with a bunch of yeah's and of course's.
