The Interview that Changed Everything (Josh Gray/HomeTown)

Chapter 4

We start walking back to my apartment before I feel a tap on my shoulder 

"Hey.. Can I have a word?" Michaela and Courtney ask in a whisper, I nod before we walk away from the group

"What's up?" I ask

"Tomorrow we're throwing a surprise party for Elsie because Ryan didn't know what to do for their 3 year anniversary. So we wanted to ask you if you would like to come?" Courtney asks 

"Of course.. Do you need anything to be prepared? I could make a cute video from Ryan if he wants to?" I ask. They look at each other before Michaela runs up to Ryan and gets him to come over

"Caitlyn had the perfect idea on what you can get Elsie!" she whisper shouts

"What?" He asks

"Do you want to come back to my place and record a video with all of the things you love about her that we can play at the party you've planned?" I ask and he nods

"Yes! That's a great idea" he smiles at me before hugging me.

We get back to my place before everyone splits up and goes home other than Ryan who used the excuse of his taxi was going to be late. I set up my camera and lights before he sits down infront of it and I hit record - he says a bunch of things before it comes to the end

"These past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life. Not just because of the band but because I've had you by my side every step of the way, I love you Els and I can't wait to spend many more years with you" he says before I stop recording. 

"She's a lucky girl!" I say

"I'm the lucky one" he says "but anyway, I'll let you get editing and then let you get to bed. I'll see you tomorrow Cait and feel free to bring a friend" and with that he leaves my apartment and lets me get on with editing. 

I finish editing both videos and look at the time to see it is 8:30 so I decide to take Ryan up on his offer and invite a friend tomorrow, I go onto contacts and press onto one of my best friends Lyric, the phone rings 3 times before she picks up

L - Hey Cait 

C - Hey Leer 

L - What's up? 

C- Do you fancy coming over to my place? There's this party tomorrow and I'm allowed a plus one

L - Of course I'll come.. Do you want me to come to your apartment now? 

C - It depends on if you want your makeup doing? 

L - I'll be there in 10 

I laugh as she hangs up before walking into the kitchen and looking trough the fridge - 10 minutes pass and I still haven't found anything to eat and Lyric still isn't here

"Where are you Leer?" I say with a hint of worry in my voice. I hear 3 light knocks on the door 5 minutes later and walk to open it to see Lyric with her overnight bag and 2 bags of McDonald's

"Hey" she says as I grab her over night bag

"Hey, I'll be back in a second" I say before taking her bag into the spare room "Leer, do you want your clothes put in the wardrobe to stop them from creasing?" 

"Yes please" she says, I empty the contents of her bag onto the bed before grabbing a couple of coat-hangers to put her clothes on.

"You did bring 3 nights worth?" I ask her as she walks in and she nods 

"I always stay for 3 nights" she laughs 

"It has been a while" I smile before putting a jumper in  the wardrobe, I pick up a beautiful black dress with a studded collar and white bow around the waist "I love this!" 

"So do I!" She smiles, I hang it up before we quickly go and eat our McDonald's which was probably cold now. Once we've done eating we both get changed into our pajamas and put on a movie which just had to be The Notebook, but due to it being such a long film, we turn it off and then go to bed to get ready for tomorrow.

LyricFox You come into this chapter!! I apologize in advance if there is any spelling errors, it's late here but I'm not tired so I'm going to keep on writing. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter! However, I go back to school on Monday for around about 6 weeks which means updates will be kind of slow but school is more important and my exams are coming up (best part of writing in my spare time is that when it comes to my English Literacy exam I will be alright and I will hopefully pass) but I will try and update as much I possibly can. But! After this 6 week at school, I have 6 weeks off but for 1 of those weeks (which will be the 20th August to the 27th August) I am on holiday and I will not have internet (I will be crying because as I said in my 13 facts.. I can't go 5 minutes without checking my social medias) Anyway, I have until Monday to get as many chapters as I can up, so no worries. I'm sorry for this super long Authors note but at least I've explained it sooner rather that later. Have a nice morning, afternoon or night wherever you are. I'm going to get writing the next part!
