Chapter 17

Ella's P.O.V

We arrive back in Limerick at 2pm and then head straight to my sister's house to drop off our luggage, I walk into the warm house and sigh 

"Lily?" I call through the house for my big sister as her little Chihuahua cross Yorkshire Terrier runs up to me 

"Hugo" Dayl says bending down to pick him up. I smile before I hear footsteps coming downstairs

"Ella! Dayl! You're here!" Lily says before hugging us both - she looks at me for a couple of minutes as the tears start to prick at my eyes, my vision becoming blurred before the tears start to fall. 

Lily's tears start to fall before we both hug each other as her husband Grayson comes downstairs - I pull away before walking over to him as he pulls me into a big bear hug

"It's going to be okay" he says soothing me slightly. 

"Eventually" I say as I pull away and walk over to Dayl "We're going to head to the cemetery" I say and they both nod before me and Dayl head out of the house and start the 5 minute walk to the cemetery..

We walk through the large oak gates before going over to the section where my mother and father's graves are placed - only to see that the headstones had been smashed. My heart drops into the pit of my stomach as I drop to the floor

"Why?" I whisper as Dayl kneels down - tears streaming down both of our cheeks at the sight. 

"What is -" a man starts until he see's what we're both looking at before we look at him to see him on the phone 

"Police please?" He asks down the phone "There has been a disruption at the cemetery."

The rest of the conversation was full of yes's and no's until eventually they hang up and the police arrive a couple of minutes later - Dayl had called Lily and Gray and they were here already. Lily is talking to the police and I'm sat on a bench while Dayl and Gray are both talking about how cruel people are nowadays.I look over to the gate to see a familiar face of somebody I don't want to see for the rest of my life - Sofia. She just stands at the gate staring my way before I decide to go over to her

"What?!" I snap

"Your parents graves" she smirks 

"I swear to fucking god if this was you!" I say through gritted teeth.

"Oh hunnie. How cute!" She snorts "You think so little of me?" 

"I do actually" I spit 

"You have so many haters because of your little (see what I did there) boyfriend over there" she says looking at Dayl

"I don't care! I don't live here anymore and I love him" I say. 

"I'll see you around old friend" she says before walking off and away from the cemetery as I head back over to Dayl, Lily and Grayson.
