Chapter 32

(please read the description at the bottom. its going to explain a lot in the story and why i took so long to update.)

Justin's POV

I looked at Lauren with a smile forming across my face. Keegan sat in the backseat. 

"Justin, I want to apologize again. I didn't know-."

"Dude for the last time. It wasn't your fault. It wasn't Lauren's fault. It was mine for not giving you guys all the details. I just tried to keep Lauren safe." I said making Lauren slowly smile before looking out the window.

"So don't beat yourself up over Keegan. Those guys will get theirs. Trust me." I said gripping onto the steering wheel a bit tighter than before. I feel Lauren's hand on my forearm. 

"Don't do anything stupid babe." She scorned.

I just smile and nod as if I got it. Trust me though damage will be done. I don't care if I get my grandpa get his guys to do it. It will happen.

I eventually pulled the car back into my moms driveway. I got out making Lauren and Keegan get out as well. 

I grabbed Lauren's hand. "I promise we will leave here soon. I hate having you here."

"It's fine. I like learning more about you." She smiled.

"Funny. Cause it comes with a pretty price." I rolled my eyes.

"And like I said. I like learning more about you and not what you just want to tell me."

"Well good because while I go with my dad to help and my grandpa kill this problem. Since Keegan can't seem to protect you. I am bringing in somebody to watch you." I said throwing my shirt onto the floor.

"Watch me? Like a child? I don't need anyone to babysit me Justin." She scorned.

"I didn't say you did but while you are here. I need to know you will be safe. I  promise, it won't take long." I smiled before putting the new shirt I grabbed on.

My phone rang, "Hey I am coming. I promise." I then hung up before sliding my phone back into my pocket. "Promise me you will be good." I said staring at her laying on the bed before I heard one of my grandpa's bodyguards behind me.

"I make no promises." She pouted.

"I will be back and when I get back. We will have the 1 on 1 time babe."

Lauren's POV

I watched Justin shake hands with a guy at the door. Before he took one last glance at me. He shook his head as he continued to walk. Keegan sat with me before looking at the guard at the door.

"Do you think even enjoys being a guard? Like watching and protecting people all the time?" I hear Keegan mumble. 

"I don't know." I shrugged looking up from my phone.

I was such a curious person. I wanted to know what Justin was going to do. The fact he didn't learn that already and dropped me right back off at his moms angered me.

Justin's POV

We pulled up at the guys who always give my family a problem. I stay in the car as I see my dad and grandfather along with Jason get out. 

I hear arguing before I load my gun up and open the door. I slammed it shut. "What do you think you doing?" I asked.

"Justin stay out of this." Jason growled. 

"No." I glared at Jason. "This is fucking bullshit. You guys never stop. Why? Because my family has all this money and power and you can't stand it?" I rolled my eyes laughing as I twirled my gun around on my index finger.
