It was 2 in the morning and the gas was half empty. I did a quick u-turn when I knew no one was coming, and started heading back to town. After a few minutes I pulled over on the side of the road and slammed my hands on the steering wheel. The horn honked loudly until I removed my hand from the center of the wheel. I leaned back in the seat and tears escaped my eyes. I was tired, frustrated and I could feel my heart breaking. He had said he was starting to like... like me. I would honestly have been thrilled. IF, he hadn't let everyone know right then and there who I was. I stared at the roof of the car, while I felt for my phone next to me. I scrolled through my contacts, resting on his number for a second before quickly scrolling down to Rachel's number.

"Rachel?" I had called her, and she'd picked up on the second ring.

"What is it Ally? It's... 2:30 in the morning, and I was having a lovely dream about Tyler." Tears started welling up in my eyes again. "Allyson. If this is bothering you so much, then call him."

"I can't. I stormed off... I watched him run into the hotel. He looked-" Rachel cut me off by yelling what the hell.

"What the hell? You were still there? You watched him. You realize he was honestly so upset he had missed you?! He spent the next day in that hotel room, trying to find out what he'd did so wrong! Allyson, you are in the wrong this time. He didn't do anything wrong." I sighed leaning my head against the steering wheel.

"I know. I over reacted. I think.... I think I should just stop. It's only been two days, but... He'll forget about me. It was three days, they ended terribly, but it was going to end anyway." I could here Rachel messing about on the other end. "You weren't asleep were you?"

"Ah... No, I was spending time with Andy. He's leaving next week for the air force." I smiled slightly. Her brother was a weirdo, truly he was, but he was doing something good with his life.

"Alright, tell Andy he's making his family proud. I'm going to head home. I have to get up early and talk with my mom and the school. I'm finally dropping out, so I have a few things to get settled." I took a moment to start the car up. "You're lucky you did this earlier. God I hate the teachers. Well, I'm about to start driving so I'mma hang up. Night Rachel"

"Night Ally. Have fun with tomorrow." I hung up and started heading home.

The week ended just like that. The threats ended, I was still recieving messages from people. Some told me I was cute, and should maybe start an acting career. I laughed at that a little, because i'd already been considering one. I was officially a drop out. I had a year and a half to study for my GED, and I had a few things I wanted to do before that.

For the next few weeks Rachel and I were spending everyday study acting, Rachel was still talking to Tyler, and he had offered her the lead singer postion in his band. Of course she accepted it, and that was when we began studying acting. I had heard of an audition in L.A for a TV series about a girl who was given away at birth, and she'd recieved some bad news about her health, and from that day on, she was going to spend her life doing everything she wanted to do, and it started with tracking down her birth parents.

The audition was in two weeks, and I still had a bunch to do before I could go. I had to quit my job, I had to say goodbyes, and pack up. Rachel and I had decided to move to L.A so she could be in her band, and I could pursue an acting career.

"Alright, I think that's everything." Rachel taped the last box shut and put it in the moving van. She motioned for the man driving that everything was done and he left. "Ally will you stop memorizing that monologue. You have a few more days til the audition, and we have only an hour, before we have to board our plane." I folded up the paper and stuck it on my back pocket.
