It is the day after yesterday, I mean today is the day after yesterday (of course) but what I'm trying to say is that I'm feeling happy—not just happy that causes my lips to form a crescent shape, it's a happy feeling that makes me hard to sleep.
I guess my adrenaline is producing too much; it made my blood rush as if I ate a packet of sugar—or was it because of the coffee I drank? My mind is not thinking straight as well; I kept on remembering our conversation yesterday.
'There's beautiful then there's you' I didn't realized I write that phrase from this one song that I listened. I looked around to find nobody beside me; quickly I take my eraser and rub it off.
"What are you doing?" my heart skipped a beat when he suddenly popped out of nowhere. I put down the eraser to look at him and give him a smile. He paused in few seconds before snorting, "What's with the smile?"
My eyes rolled in annoyance, "Is it a sin to smile?" I open a page of my book as I sit straight. He laughs awkwardly before saying a no with his head shakes. "Precisely," I said without looking at him.
"Hey Wendy...um," I hummed in respond when he called my name, "Do you want one?" he pulled out two sandwiches, and smiles at me weirdly.
"Do you ever read the signs? No foods allowed, the librarian might call the security to drag you out!" my voice raised a little, and yet he just frowned.
He pouted his lips and leaned closer to me, "That's why I share my one sandwich for you, so we can finish it fast," he batted his eyelashes like he's a 3 year old girl acting all pretty.
Hate to admit, he looks pretty but cute at the same time, so I sighed before accepting the sandwich in his hands. He cheered happily, and then he shoves his sandwich into his mouth.
I look at him with my nose scrunched, "Tsk Tsk, look at you eating so deliciously," I scolded him but he just smiles proudly as if it was the right thing. So I ate it, and the sandwich tasted good, the mayo covers the cucumber taste.
He gave me a smile once the sandwich is already gone inside my tummy, "Good huh?" he asked, I shrugged my shoulder—kind of accepting his statement. He takes out a napkin and pulls it closer to my lips, "I mean its real good, because you eat it so..." he stopped wiping the dirt on my lips as he look at me once more, "Amazingly bad."
"Are you insulting me?" I pull out a poker face before hitting him on his shoulder, "Well you ate it crazily ugly!" I don't even know what that means but whatever.
"Yeah, but that's okay! You like it anyway," he playfully smirks, as he narrows his eyes to me. "Right?" I rolled my eyes saying a stern rejection. "Right..." his tone was teasing, and I don't want to get any further so I ignore him instead.
I started on jotting down some notes that I need, imagining that he's not near me. As I was about to finish, something inserted my left ear, so I turned around to find Jin setting an earpiece in his ear as well, then without looking at me he plugs it on his phone.
A melodic instrument played, and a beautiful voice singing the song. I just look at him while he shuts his eyes; like he was mesmerized by the song. The lyric tells the truth, but I don't understand why he's making me listen to this song.
