Together in one hot air balloon.

His smile was the reason to my fluttering heart and all I wanted to do was to stay by his side. It might be one-sided love but at least I got to spend my days in New York with him.

It was still, probably around four in the morning in an early autumn season and he planned to go out to somewhere he never goes before. We hit the road with his friend's old truck as we listened to rock band songs. I admitted that I don't really like that genre but listening to the songs with him as he sang along made me...well...liked it.

He bobbed his head and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel while singing. He has the most soothing voice I've ever heard and it just made me want to listen more and more.

"When I was King! We had everything!"

He didn't mind if he looked bad while singing; he just kept bobbing his head through the beating sounds.

And suddenly a questioned popped inside my head and I ought to know his answer. "So, what's your favourite band?" I asked since well we listened to Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and other bands that I hardly remember.

He lowered the volume and looked at me with a smile. "I don't really know, I just love listening to them. Well at the moment, its One Ok Rock but my all time favourite is All Time Low, I think..." he tilted his head while thinking deeply. "I actually don't know what my favourite is, I just enjoy the music."

After hearing his thoughtful answer, I smiled to myself and repeated his words in my head. I still don't know why I found his words very meaningful. "Well I think I like this one," I blurted out.

"Yeah, I really love this one too, it's I Was King by One Ok Rock—they're actually Japanese and they are really rocking it," he explained. I nodded my head and pretended as if I enjoyed the song too. "You know what, after today, I'm going to make you a mixtape of the songs that I really love."

It sounded so old-fashioned, but I liked it—I mean, who uses mixtapes in this century? I'm sure everyone use pendrives or CD ROM although it's also old-fashioned, but a mixtape?

"Sure, I would love that..."

After a few more songs, I surprisingly heard the song before and I even sang it in my head as if I knew the song. "This is also one of...my favourite?" he asked himself as he was unsure of his words. "It was one of the famous songs in 2007; I think...have you heard of it before?"

I wanted to nod my head but I couldn't say that I know, right? I picked up my phone and checked through the song's lyrics. "Not really, but I think I do...?"
