Jane woke up letting out a loud gasp. Hot tears streaming down her face. Memories flashing all around. Her mother's scream, her father's cry flying around in her head. Her own head being smashed into the window of the back seat.

"Jane?!" Nathan asked concerned. "What happened what's wrong?!"

Jane wiped her tears and gave Nathan an odd look.

"Um... Nothing. Just a bad dream.. Why do you care?" Jane asked a little sassy.

"I don't I was just... " Nathan said not finishing his sentence.

Parker woke up from Jane's gasp as well. Parker leaned forward and gave Nathan a weird look.

"Bug off Parker." Nathan said, then looked out the window to his right.

Parker shook his head then looked out his window to his left.

An hour or so later the train came to a sudden stop, lunging everyone forward.

"Ow!" Jane said as her head hit the seat in front of her.

"Ahh!" Parker said falling out of his seat onto the ground.

"Guys be quiet for crying out loud. You're fine!" Nathan said shaking his head in disgust.

Jane peered out the window and saw a little town in the middle of what seemed like no where. There were only a few buildings.. Maybe as much as 10 in this town not including the houses. One building stood out to her. A bright blue building that had the words "Baylieville School" written on the front.

"Nathan is that the high school?" Jane asked a bit concerned.

"Yea it is Jane.. Its also the middle school, and the elementary school. Why the concern?" Nathan replied.

"Well It just.." Jane paused.. " Its so small."

"Well there are only 87 people at the school ya know."

"Oh right.. I forgot sorry."

Jane wasn't used to living in such a small town. She came from a big city with too many people, and now she's living in a town with a population of 200.. well 201 now.

The train came to a complete stop at 3:30.

"Here we are Jane!" Aunt Wendy said rather excited. "Baylieville!

Jane walked out with her family onto the gravel road. There weren't very many cars. Such a small town didn't need to many cars I would guess. Jane seemed to stick out like a black flower in a field of yellow flowers... Everyone stared at her for a little while.

"Aunt Wendy..." Jane asked looking down.

"Yes dear?"

"Why is everyone staring?"

"Oh they just aren't used to new people dear! You'll get used to it!"

Jane sighed and followed Aunt Wendy to the house.

Aunt Wendy and Uncle Lucas' house was... interesting you could say. It was a two story house with a basement. The outside of the house was white with a light green trim and the same color door. It was rather old. Paint chipped on the outside and the porch seemed very unstable. The inside how ever was even more interesting. Once you first walk in there's a dining room on the left with a dark oak table surrounded with 5 chairs. Past that is a living room with a blue couch and two cream colored chairs. All three with stains on them. Then next to the living room is a very tiny kitchen. Dark oak cabinets to match the table and white counter tops. Off the kitchen was Uncle Lucas and Aunt Wendy's room, it was a very tiny room. A full size bed lay in the middle of the room against the wall with a window. A pathetic closet and bathroom barely any space for anything.
