"Oh there you three are!" Aunt Wendy said walking towards them. "Did you get them?"
Parker and Nathan rolled up their sleeves and showed her their locker numbers. Jane did the same after them.
"Oh goodie!" Aunt Wendy said cheerfully. "Let's go to the car and get your locker decorations!"
Aunt Wendy, Parker, Nathan, and Jane all went out to the car.
They bought book holders, mini shelves, tons of books, pencil holders, mirrors, etc. The lockers went down to the floor and up to the ceiling.
"Okay I'll go get my locker set up." Parker said taking all his stuff and setting up his locker. He had locker 4.
"Same here." Nathan said doing the same.
"Okay dears! I'll help Jane with hers."
Jane and Aunt Wendy set up her locker. She had a long shelf and two book holders. On the inside of the door there was a mini mirror and a pencil holder.
"It looks great hun!" Aunt Wendy said patting Jane on the back.
"Thanks for the help Aunt Wendy." She said putting all her books in.
"You're welcome dear. I better go see how the boys are doing." She said cheerfully and walked away.
As Jane was doing the finishing touches to her locker, a tall girl with bouncy red hair and brown eyes came up beside her and started to fill her locker.
"Hello." Jane said friendly. "I'm Jane."
The girl glanced at Jane then said "Good for you."
Jane was quite shocked at this response.
Ignoring the fact that the girl was extremely rude Jane continued the conversation."What's your name?" She asked curiously.
The girl turned around to look at Jane. The girls curly bright red hair bounced as she did so.
"Piper." She said with a glare. "Now leave me alone.""Oh! You're Nathan's girlfriend!" Jane said.
"How do you know Nathan?" She asked sharply.
"Oh, well." Jane said raising an eyebrow. "I'm his cousin... Didn't he tell you I was coming?"
"Um. No."
"Oh well, I'm his cousin who moved in with them."
"Well okay then. Good for you."
Piper slammed her locker door shut and walked away.
"Well isn't she a bundle of joy." Jane mumbled.
"Who?" A voice said behind her.
Jane spun around and saw a girl with light blonde hair and deep green eyes standing there with books in here arms. She looked to be around Nathan's age.
"Oh, um just my cousins girlfriend, Piper." Jane said looking at the girl.
"Oh her." The girl said rolling her eyes. "She's a jerk."
"Yeah I can tell." Jane said laughing. "I don't know how Nathan handles her."
"Me neither." She said with a laugh.
"Well I'm locker 12. I better get over there before my mom has a fit. Bye!" The girl said politely.
"Okay, Bye!" Jane said smiling.
