A few minutes later they arrived at the school. Once you walk in there's a nurses office on the left and the principles office on the right. Just like the store there were little sensors on the ginormous oak doors. Past the offices there were rows of lockers on the walls. The lockers were a dark blue just like the color of Nathan's shirt. There was only about 40 lockers which was strange to Jane. Some people were putting stuff in their new lockers others were standing in line at the principles office.

"Hey Nathan. What are they standing their for?" Jane asked.

"Their locker numbers. We'll do that last, we have to get our schedule first." Nathan replied sounding bored.

"Oh look here's Mrs. Cranges' office. I'm going to say a quick hello, you three move along." Aunt Wendy said as they passed the first classroom.

Past the lockers were the classes. There were 15 teachers in all for every one in Baylieville.

"So Jane." Parker said walking the halls like he owned the place. "This is the high school wing. Middle school and elementary school are on the other side."

Jane nodded her head as she scanned every name on the class room door. Mr. Rodgers: Math, Ms. Hunter: Social studies, Mrs. Matthew: Biology, English 1: Mr. Trenton, Mrs. Franklin: Biology 2, Mr. Hanks: History.

Once they got past the class rooms there were some extra rooms that were used for electives. There were only 5 choices for electives, creative writing, technology, art, photography/ year book, and gym. Jane's attention was drawn towards creative writing and photography. But she didn't know if they had certain ones assigned to her like they did back at home for the 9th graders.

"We're almost to the gym Jane." Nathan said. "Just past the library."

"Okay." Jane replied. "I didn't realize how big the school is."

"It's not that big actually. It's just long. The younger kids have a wider building then us." Nathan said running his fingers through his hair. "But the younger kids also have benches to sit on instead of individual seats."

Jane nodded as they passed the library. The library was magnificent. It had every book imaginable. It had 16 ft tall ceilings covered with books. Beautiful Oak staircases that led up to a seating area with more books. Every wall covered in extraordinary bookshelves. The book shelves were almost a quarts color and were smashed with thousands of books. Books of red, blue, green, orange, magenta, rose, plum, etc. Jane stood in awe staring at the library, her cousins not yet noticing she was still there.

"Wow.." Jane whispered to her self.

"Pretty magnificent isn't it?" A deep voice said behind Jane.

Jane jumped and twirled around startled to see Ethan standing right behind her.

"Oh Ethan! You scared me." Jane said laughing.

"Ah sorry." He said smirking.

His crystal blue eyes sparkled and his dark brown hair barely fell over his eyes.

"So what grade you going into?" He asked her.

"9th. What about you?" Jane asked him casually.

"Same here." He said with a grin. "Looks like we'll have some classes together Jane."

"Yeah that would be awes-." Jane paused and then remembered her Aunt's specific instruction. "I-i have to go."

"Hey wait what's wrong?" Ethan said confused.

"I just have to go." Jane said as she brushed by Ethan and hurried to catch up with her cousins.

Jane could see Parker and Nathan walking down the hall still. She ran to catch up with them.

Once Jane got to them she walked in the same rhythm as them hoping they didn't ever notice she was gone.

There was silence for a few minutes, which got Jane hopeful. Until Parker spoke up.
