August 11 2002.
"Come on sweetheart", A kind gentle voice said. "We have to catch our train".
A small girl with red ,blonde hair looked up with tears in her eyes.
"Okay," The girl said getting up from the grave where she sat. "Lets go".
"Jane?" the kind gentle voice said. "Are you okay?"
"Yes, Aunt Wendy. Thank you."
So many things were going through Jane's brilliant mind... "Why me?" She thought. "Why did it have to be me?"
A tear fell down Jane's face as they got into the car. Her new black dress was ruined, it seemed to be turning into brown because of the tear stains covering it.
"W-what are we waiting here for?" Jane asked Aunt Wendy quietly.
"Your cousins and Uncle dear."
Jane's cousins were horrible. Two boys, both older than her of course, but both just horrible. A car approached the two girls, and they got inside. Then her cousins came to join them. Jane watched as the two boys walk to the car. The oldest cousin, Nathan, shook his brown hair across his face and shoved his hands into his jean pockets. Right behind Nathan followed Parker. Parker also shook his sandy blonde hair across his face. Parker's role model was Nathan. At one point he wanted to be exactly like him. Bought similar clothes to Nathan, got the same hair cut, even fantasized about dyeing his beautiful blonde hair brown.
Jane sighed and leaned against the window.
"Scoot over Jane!" Nathan practically shouted at her.
Jane scooted over more being squished more by the second.
"Nathan, Be a little more nice to Jane." Aunt Wendy Said
"Whatever mom." Nathan said rolling his dark blue eyes.
"What are you doing?!" Parker asked Jane.
"I'm sitting Parker". Jane responded
"Not there you're not." Parker said as he lifted Jane out of her seat and threw her in the middle.
Jane got adjusted to her new seat in the middle and tried to make the best of the situation.
"You get the best seat in the car Jane." Nathan said smirking
Tears started to fall down Jane's face as Aunt Wendy signaled for the driver to get going. Aunt Wendy didn't belong in such a horrible family. She was kind, nice, and beautiful. The boys may of gotten the dreadful attitude from their dad, but they definitely did get their mom's beautiful looks.
"Ma'am, I'm afraid we don't have room for your husband". The taxi driver said
"Ooh mom! Throw Jane out! She can walk." Parker said with a smirk.
Aunt Wendy just ignored her son and told Uncle Lucas to meet them at the train station.
Uncle Lucas groaned and said, "Why not just throw the girl out with one of the boys?"
"Because Lucas," Aunt Wendy said, "The girl just..."
Aunt Wendy turned around just to see Jane staring at the car floor.
"Lucas just walk... Please?" Aunt Wendy asked politely.
Uncle Lucas groaned and started to the train station.
The family all met Uncle Lucas up at the train station. The sun had just started to set as the trains pulled into the station. The trains in the station were old and rusty. Yet they seemed to have a strange glow off of them. The sun was out today which made them glow. The sun has never shone so beautifully before. The sparkly white snow, and the bright golden sun both reflecting off the rusty old trains.
