First chapter, It's short... I know

I woke up early to think hard about what to wear, I was blocked, skirt or trousers?? Top or Tshirt?? How difficult... First impression counts for me. So, at the end I decided to wear my brand new jeans, my Luke Skywalker pink Tshirt and my favorite boots.
And there I was, behind the car window, watching the building where I'll study high school for my last years. It seemed old, but well kept and on the cover of the front wall you can read: "Belleville High School", so I said goodbye to my father, I got off the car and headed for the door. I'm not used to so many people look at me at once, but as I walked further, more and more people, started to look at me. "It's normal" I said to myself, while I sat on a bench. "I'm the new one." They hadn't opened yet, so I plugged my headphones, suddenly Queen invades my ears, as I zone out.

"Go to the office." My father told me before I left the car. "They'll give you your schedule and locker code." he repeated me like five times, but in that mass of people I found very difficult to find anything, so I asked a girl that was searching for something in her own locker.
"Um... Exuse me... would you mind telling me where the office is?" I asked a bit shy. So she turned around to face me. She has hazel eyes and it's taller than me, well everyone could be taller than me, I'm a fucking Leprechaun, and she has short dark brown hair with blue stripes, i'ts amazing, mine it's just a boring light brown, and she's dressed in colorful clothes.

"You're new aren't you? I'm Trixie." She says in a fast speed with a grin on her face. "Um, yes, I am." I mutter, feeling stupid. "You'll find it at the end of the hallway, good luck." he answers pointing to a door at the end of the corridor. "Thanks, I'm Rose." I finish giving her a wide smile. "S'fine, find me at lunch okay?" She says quickly before I leave. "Alright!" I shout walking down the hallway full of people. Wow time record, something like 5 seconds and BAM! New friend... Maybe this isn't too bad from what I have been thinking about

"Rose Caphell isn't it?" The old fat lady behind the counter asks staring at a sheet behind some huge glasses. "Yes, that's me." I awnsered. "Here is you Schedule, books and your locker's code, don't lose it, or you won't be able to open it." The granny says smiling before I leave the room.

I walked to my locker, I casually found where it was without problems, and typed the code on the wheel. Fuck, I'll maybe need a stool to reach the last iron shelf... I tiptoed to the bloody last shelf and dropped the books there as I watched my shedule, when I saw him.

A boy of about my age, maybe a year older, he walked bowed and looking grim, I couldn't see his face because a huge mop of messy raven black hair covers it. He was totally dressed in black, he looks sad. Some jocks with football jackets reached him and one of them slapped him at the back of the head, knocking him to the ground near me. I felt really pity.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked him while he stands up, but he didn't answered me, he even didn't looked up at me, of course he has reasons to not be fine. He just opened the locker near mine, grabbed his books and walked quickly out the hallway to a random classroom, avoiding every single look.

Well, as Trixie said, I found her at lunch, in the cafeteria, she was with two other girls, one has short red hair and blue eyes, it looks of my height, the other is blonde with brown eyes, and is as tall as Trixie, the three of them were laughing when I reach their table, Trixie looked and pointed to a seat next to her, so I sat down. "Hey Rose, these are my friends." She said pointing to the two girls. "Hi." I say shyly waving my hand to them, and they waved me back. "I'm Cherry." the redhead chick said to me, her name suits her. "And I'm Danielle." The blonde one said in a cheery voice, they look nice, I guess.

"So Rose... I barely know you, from this morning why did you changed?" Trixie asked me after a while. "Well, as you can see... I'm not from here." I answered trying to be a bit interesting. Trixie looked at me doubtful, before asking again. "So where do you come from?" Okay, time to reveal who I am... DUN DUN DUNN *Feeling like agent X* "Well, I'm from London." I just answered with a grin. "Really? Oh that's interesting!!!" Danielle yelled excited. "I have noticed from the beginning." Cherry says jokingly, so I giggle at her comment, as we continue eating. "You have a really posh accent, I've never heard before." Trixie says, as I feel stupid with my strong English accent. "Yes, well people use to joke about my accent... I don't know why! I'ts just an accent! I can tell you also have an accent I've never heard before..." I complained trying not to be disrespectful. "Yeah, but you're in New Jersey... Mess with me, and I'll take my gun!" She shouts pointing to the pocket of her hoodie. I flinched and moved a few inches from my seat. "I was kidding!" She says laughing, really, this girl it's crazy. The last part of the lunchtime, the three of them explained me to what "Social group" belonged each table of the cafeteria, two of them where from the football team, three huge tables were full of blonde bimbos chatting about makeup and shoes, from what i could heard, the rest of them were from clubs, art club, theatre club, music club... ect. And I could find the guy from this morning was sitting outside the door frame, with three other guys, that looked from about his age.

"Who's he?" I asked Trixie while looking at him, concerned about what happened to him this morning. "I even don't know him... He's just a loser don't you see him? Emo boy" She said making a hateful gesture, that puzzled me, a lot. Poor guy he looks lonely and sad, why does everybody treats him like that? I would like to help him in some way... But suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by a Cheerful Cherry with a suicidal idea... "Hey Trixie I bet you $5 Rosie doesn't has the guts to talk to one of those guys from the door." She says pointing to the group of the guy and his friends. "Oh! C'mon! Don't make me this we have almost met!" I whined to an amused Cherry. "Pleaaseee!!!" I begged Trixie, but instead, she just said me: "Oh, c'mon, I trust you, you seem open and friendly, I certainly KNOW you can do it, c'mon five dollars are on risk!" Fuck, I don't have any chance... I slowly went to the corner where he was sitting and I looked down to face him. "Hey," I started, but he didn't turned to face me, even if I know he has already heard me. "Hey look, I don't want to lie you, my friends had bet five dollars I'll spoke you and I feel very bad about what happened to you this morning." I said in a rush.

He suddenly started to lift up his head, and I could stand better on him: The black and messy raven hair fell almost by his shoulders, with huge bangs. He was paler than a sheet, his face has a certain childish and cute look and behind his beautiful hazel-greenish eyes I could read a mix between boredom, serenity and anger. "I'm Rose." I finished as I gulp, staring at his amazing eyes, really, I have to say they are amazing.

"Gerard." He just muttered, not meeting my gaze.

I bless you with a pic of Gee :3
